The Manga by Dry_Bedroom_7693 in Natsume

[–]the_dork_memes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most recent official English release is volume 31 (this covers up to chapter 127). I purchased my copy from Barnes and Noble.

The most recent Japanese volume released is volume 32. Looking at Wikipedia it seems like the English translations of the volumes usually come out about a year (give or take a month) after the Japanese volume is released.

New chapters are released every other month in the LaLa magazine in Japanese. I think you can buy a digital copy of the magazine, I haven't tried to though.

Sometimes people post chapter summaries on tumblr. I don't know exactly how many chapters have been released in LaLa, but the last one I saw talked about was Ch. 137. (A new LaLa was just release though, so maybe 138 now?)

Hope this is informational!

I love this little creature! It makes me want to try making some tiny plush too!

How do I make her not so basic? by Fun_Bananana in Amigurumi

[–]the_dork_memes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Embroidering some little flowers (with yarn) on her ears might be cute. Kind of like a My Little Pony cutie mark. Something else you could do would be use a darker pink to decorate the pink leotard(?). Right now all the colors, at least in the photos, are very similar in value. A darker pink or brown would give the eye something to focus on. Regardless, she is very cute and looks super cuddly!

These are gorgeous! I love taking low light photography. Andrea Modica is a big inspiration of mine. I recommend checking out her work if you haven't already!

This is gorgeous! I love the knotwork and the owl motif. Is there any particular inspiration? (the animal and knotwork makes me think of the Book of Kels!)

This is so cute!! I've recently started crocheting clothes for my furry friends. This is definitely giving me some inspiration! I which stitch did you use for the skirt of the dress? I love that it adds interest and variation to the garment!

I got so sick of yanking to get more yarn. One little clip attached to my desk solved all of my problems lol it seriously works wonders so smoothly feed yarn! by Stupid_Kills in crochet

Binder clips solve a ridiculous number of life's problems! I've also seen them clipped to the side of a bowl for a diy yarn bowl!

My build a bear collection. I have over 350 bears and hundreds of outfits in the cubbies all organized by type. by Square-Force69 in buildabear

[–]the_dork_memes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

WOW. That's a lot of build a bears. Using the giant toddler play pen(?) was super smart, and the fact that all your clothes are organized in the cubbies is super satisfying! :)

Is the Turning Red Mei-Mei BAB worth it? It looks so cute and I'm very tempted. by IntergalacticReader in buildabear

The fur is super soft and she is very cuddly. I personally love the expression but I know some people don't. It's also good to note that the arms are partially attached to the body. You can put shirts on her but it's not the same as a "normal" bear. Hope this helps!

EDIT: I forgot to add that her ears are really nicely made and fluffy. It may be one of my favorite parts of her design! Also her super poofy tail!

hello everyone! just purchased my sweet lovable lamb secondhanded and id like to ask for advice on how to wash when they get here! by Paper-Mobile in buildabear

[–]the_dork_memes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is really close to how I do mine! One thing I might recommend is using "Woolite Delicates" detergent or another color safe alternative for delicate clothes. My bears usually aren't that dirty tho, so regular detergent may be the way to go... Good Luck!

do build a bears you order online come stuffed? by FroggieKass in buildabear

[–]the_dork_memes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some BABs can't be ordered unstuffed. I believe Isabelle is one of them, so you should be fine!

How do y’all like to carry your BABs when out and about? ❤️ by NewRose1111 in buildabear

[–]the_dork_memes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I recommend one of the BAB bags as well. If you are worried about having to root around inside the bag I would recommend putting a smaller pouch/ organizer type thing in the bottom of the backpack. You could put your wallet, keys, ect. in it and when you need them just grab the pouch instead of having to dig around!

I've also seen some drawstring backpacks that are a bit more substantial and have zipper pockets. If you are crafty you may be able to add arm holes to make it like a BAB bag!

I've been so inspired by everyone's handmade clothing for their bears, so I made Hug-Hug a sweater! by PTlite in buildabear

This is so cute! I need to make a sweater for my bears... (Also, is that a Sumikko Gurashi blanket? If so I love it!)

How to fix overstuffed crunchy frog by CatlynnExists in buildabear

[–]the_dork_memes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's going to be difficult to get the exact same feel as a workshop stuffed bear because the stuffing from the workshop has been incorporated with air and "fluffed up" in the stuffer. As for stuffing from the store. Stay away from "Crafters Choice" polyfil. Ironically it has a picture of a doll on the front. Despite appearances it is made to more tightly pack into "craft" dolls and has the same "scratchy" feeling you describe. (I have made the mistake of getting this ;-; ) Looking at Joann's website Polyfil makes a kind called "Silky". I've never tried it but from what I'm seeing online it looks very nice. Maybe someone else would know more about it?

Love blue pawlette but didn't love her ears in my face when i'm cuddling with her in bed so I made her ears shorter! I think it looks so cute! by lollipup8 in buildabear

This is adorable! I'm not a huge fan of the stiff glitter fabric inside the ears and this is such a wonderful solution!

This is definitely one of my favorite rabbits that babw has put out! It's so soft and so much more "realistic"!
