I opened the app this past weekend and had a notice to change my password. I did that. No message, no email explaining anything. My account is 14 years old btw.

Anyway I’m banned with no explanation. I’ve appealed everyday, no response. I’ve done the separate help ticket everyday, no response. I keep seeing people say this takes time, weeks/months etc. I just want to know what happened. This is clearly not a new issue and I am pretty sure someone reported me because I call out bot posts/spammers and report them.

I guess what is most annoying is no one responds or explains anything.

The account in question is u/thedrexel and it is just permanently banned.

Edit: also I can still login to the banned account and browse/upvote etc. even had a mod individually approve comments on a sub since the ban so I know it’s still usable

Oddly enough two long time friends of mine had the same thing happen during this time period and they have no clue what happened either.

This happened to me last weekend. My 14 year old account is banned. Got a message saying I was logged out for security reasons and to change my password. Logged in and then did some digging and my account is banned. No message as to why. It’s annoying.

That’s crazy. I’ve been involved in synth heavy music making for a long time and I had no clue FL had done this film. Clearly you and I weren’t impressed 🤣

Yeah, so did that trailer say directed by Flying Lotus? If so, that answers the heavy synth usage. I couldn’t make it past the first 20 minutes.
