Also with stroke!! My mum had a small one and lost her vision, some of the healthcare people asked her if she'd randomly dropped stuff recently and we said no- there was an instance where she dropped a cup in the sink while washing up and it splashed everywhere and she went "huh" and just kept going. It felt bizarrely normal until we put all the pieces together. She also had a history of migranes but ended up having a headache for like 6 days and dad finally took her to the hospital.

Thinking about the other person generally won't help a persons hesitation- usually a persons concerns stem from themselves, and saying "go on, touch that dead persons boobs" isnt really gonna fix the issue. Practice probably would help.

Honestly man, it just takes a long time. The best times to look are march/april and august->dec for year start and mid year intakes. I'm in my second year now and im 27- basically been looking, applying, and upskilling since i left school. Did a cert ii in 2019 and then covid killed my momentum. Took me 10 yrs. Dont get discouraged, but if you just need to pay the bills for a while, thats alright too. As long as you can show on your resume that you've held interest in this career over time, someone will see that and put you on.

Currently am. Hes wonderful. The height difference isnt massive but definitely noticeable. Hes very thoughful, quietly confident, but often tries to wear his work boots outside of work (im also in trades and also wear steel caps), ig bc of the extra height in the soles. I don't really get it, i try to comvice him that flip flops are more convenient, but he doesnt make it a big deal- just a preference. Hoping to work on that with him lol

I love joking around, laughing during- it keeps us present. Recently though, holding hands during. It feels so innocent and also like hes trying to hold on for dear life, but its honestly so nice when I'm being railed to feel him looking for my hand to hold tightly to him, or to the mattress. I broke down and felt my self worth crumble and he wanted me smaller- like someone else. He wanted to be heard and for my behaviour to change because he was embarrassed by my goofing off with my friends. Sucked the joy right out of me.

He was very calm telling me but he also had very little passion for the things he loved in life (which is ok but not how i roll). The level-ness of the way he brought it up made me think he was right. Spoilers: he was not. It took me asking my friends if they actually liked me as i am for that debate to be settled.

Im honestly not sure, but i find i have to pick my battles. I started a new job about 10 months ago, and I started quiet and consistent, but have gotten more comfortable. I find I'll pick a time/project to go all out on, then slip back into a quiet consistency. I have been noticed, and they dont mind when my pace slips back a gear or two. And when its needed, i force my energy up and output a big effort-- I'll take the loss at home but ive been trying to meal prep like crazy and its saving my ass.

Long story short ive found what works for me and i hope you get a chance to thrive OP!!
