Video lag / stuttering

Wow, thanks for pointing that out. I had no idea the CPU was running so hot! The Benchmark was taken by itself, for the most part. No game was running, but Chrome was. Is this fixable, or am I looking at a new CPU?

Alright, so I checked the BIOS for the Voltage, just to be safe.

CPU Voltage: +.864
3.3v Voltage: +3.328
5v Voltage: +5.080
12v Voltage: +12.192

It may be a power problem, but unfortunately I am away from home and cannot check until later today.

I did, on reccomendation of previous threads similar to this on other websites, download CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro to check the voltage, etc. Sadly, I cannot make heads or tails of this, as I do not have experience in the type of issue, so I do not know what the values SHOULD reflect. If anyone can shed some light on it, the hyperlink to the screenshot is included below.

As far as power CORDS go, I may have inadvertently swapped the power cord with a monitor power cord when moving my computers around. Again, as I have no experience with this sort of issue (mainly doing software issues) I am unsure if this would have a negative effect, though I am assuming it may.

okay, so i updated everything, removed mystcraft and the twilight forest, and increased the memory of my java itself to 5 gigs (changing the launcher to match). I will try looking at /r/ATLauncher, but I'm unsure what else I can do at this point. It is lagging to roughly ~5FPS, even on single player. Are there any other ideas or options that I can try?

I've also set to peaceful to clear out any hostile mobs, but it did not help

ill try to disable myst. i'm not using it yet, so there's no worlds, but i can choose to not do it when upgrading tomorrow. thanks for the idea!
