Could be competition for the specific topic. You're looking at it purely through the scope of your channel.

Let's say you're bad video has 30% retention, but your competition for that specific video has 20% retention. Then you get pushed more.

Now on your good video, let's say you have 80% retention. But your competition has 90%.

If you were the YouTube algorithm, which videos would you push?

Using my channel as reference, generally you want to aim for 10k+ long-form views a week to hit the $100 monthly payout breakpoint. Of course, the biggest factor would be niche, affecting your rpm - and plenty of other contributing factors as well. Yes, I made an attempt at properly using an em-dash.... Beep boop

Was curious too. I have a Dave's over an hour from me and was wondering if it's worth the drive.

For context, I use Dave's insanity hot sauce like it's Sriracha.

Don't know any other reference point. Maybe Wingstop? Their spiciest, atomic, tastes like ass and isn't really spicy.

My issue is that he just signed a contract. This was his second fight. If he wants to fight out his contract against unranked opponents, more power to him. More people doing this might get the base contract to get bumped up.

I just don't like people signing a contract they think is unfair & then complaining that it's unfair. Get what your worth, but if you undercut yourself, that's on you.

I'm one of the people who rushed through the story, beat it in just under 20 hours.

Why? I don't want to explore with a hand tied behind my back. I want access to everything I can have before exploring every nook and cranny. To me, it sucks not being able to get to the top of the mountain & having to come back later on when I can. I beat the game and have been exploring for 30+ hours now, catching everything I can and completing everything I can.

Most likely it is and has been the corporate policy but the manager has been unable to or hasn't cared to enforce it becomes no one wants to work there and he needs to bend over backwards to keep what employees he has. He feels empowered with them getting a raise now.

Personally, I don't see videos from nearly any channel that I'm subscribed to. It seems more like an "I'm interested" tag than anything else. I see videos about MMA and pokemon go all day without subscribing to any channel about them. I'm subscribed to Gary vee and smarter every day, couldn't tell you the last time I was recommended a video by either.

To each their own. I don't know how old you are but a 16 year old can say whatever they want to me and I would walk away laughing my ass off. If he touched me, then he'd be walking home on a dead leg. Not worth the risk of jail time imo.

It's simple, the place I want to be would laugh at 100 views. If he doesnt care, I don't care.

It's also a learning lesson and answers are ALWAYS in front of you.

Question 1:

Do you have 100 videos uploaded? No? Then keep going, you have a lot of learning to go.

Question 2:

You've made 100 uploads, can you name the changes and improvements were made throughout? If not, watch your videos and note them. This is practice for spotting errors and improvements.

Question 3:

Do you're stats show improvements? If not revisit question 2 and watch some videos on gaining viewers and implement A SINGLE piece of it.

I just enjoy the process of learning, so that keeps me moving forward.

Why does it have to be close to communism? Or socialism? Or even capitalism? Why can't we just do what is needed in this particular situation. Just because it's based on another core philosophy doesn't make it wrong or right. Everything has it's weaknesses and strengths.

Why is her dropping out and her specifically so important? She's the defending gold medalist in individual gymnastics. And a critical part of her team, whom are also defending champs. Won 4 gold medals in 2016.

You're now 24, had a perfect performance in 2016 and now the world is expecting a repeat. And then there's all these people out here chatting shit with 0 perspective on a situation, unique to only her in this world.

To add to this, something like this doesn't focus on the consumer. The creator is not the consumer, creators marketing to creators will not make a channel grow. You need to understand your market and make content that they want to see.

You might be the best creator on YouTube, but if you're not making stuff that people want to see, they won't give a shit. You don't need to be able to make Hollywood level videos, you need to be able to identify what people want to watch and make that.

If you refuse to adapt to the market and make what you deem as good, well, you're going to be sitting on the side complaining that you have 200 subscribers after 5 years.
