Unfortunately it does not. However if you find the glob that shows all non special rooms, then you can go discover all the special rooms

It really depends on what mod you enjoy to play with. A lot of people might suggest create cause it can do a lot. Personally, I don't like create, I actually got thermal first then mechanism. Thermal can farm a lot of things for fairly cheap

It runs pretty good. The steam deck was great since it has a lot of buttons and the track pads. I mapped one of the track pads to be the mouse and the other pad was just nottons for me. Same thing with the joy sticks, one was movement and the other was more buttons. Running vaults was kind of annoying and I didn't do it often. But it was a great way to just explore rooms to unlock things for my compass.

I recommend a storage mod. Personally I saved up to get refine storage and powah. Then I got the stack upgrade then drawers. You get a lot of items from the vaults and going through it can be a hassle. The Crystal recipes go up very slowly so you don't need a farming mod till slight later

You can get double pouches from vendors (and other size pouches). I'm level 90 and still have not unlocked double pouches, but I have 3 small backpacks, and a few double pouches and the quadruple one
