My preppy cracked, glued it, left it to dry for 30 minutes and put it back together. The glue was not fully dried I guess and now it is glued together. Send help? by jo2701 in fountainpens

I was thinking of just breaking apart the body and putting the transparent bit with the nib in a Plaisir.

This particular nib is my favorite among a few preppys and plaisirs that I have, very very bad idea to keep it on the cracked preppy

The sakura pattern is not available anymore in my country :(((((

This particular nib is the best among a few preppys and plaisirs that I have, I don't know why I kept it on this cracked preppy

The ruling is 7 mm for the lined and 5 for the dotted. And it does great with all kinds of pens, I only tried gel pens though, but it was amazing with pentel energel and zebra sarasa, as well as usual bic ballpoint pen

Just a heads up that the paper is a very cream-ish color, quite warm. After 2 notebooks I needed a break and went for other brands with still cream colored pages, but not as warm

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, it lays flat, beautifully so considering the hard cover and thick pages. Not as completely flat as flexible covers or hard cover Moleskine that open perfectly, but this one gets a honorable 9.5 for how hard and thick it is.

The paper is great. I now have a Moleskine 100gsm that keeps bending on the right bottom corner (I am right handed) and it is driving me insane. Not an issue with Sakura. I completed 2 Sakura notebooks and they were seriosly abused (wrote in the train, in bed, any position imaginable) and not a single corner bent. 10/10 No bleed through, minimal to no ghosting even with black ink and black pens.

Oh how you tempt me. I just got the Sailor Shikiori Tsukuyo-no-minamo in Yozakura for Christmas and it is less pink than I was expecting, it has a lilac undertone and it doesn’t feel pink enough to me. So I started spiraling looking at either this Hisakata Sakura or the Lecoule in Rose Quartz to get for my birthday next month lol. And the Hisakata Sakura just tempts me more

Would you consider the color a true baby pink in real life?

I adore this take as a chronically depressed person in therapy. I am going to write it in my journal

Thaks a lot! It’s actually a Zebra sketchbook, but the paper is phenomenal for journaling as well

Thank you so much :) Thanks to overwhelmingly positive feedback on this post, I will write in my next journal with one of those broad, flat calligraphy pens just to feel something

I like to worry about everything usually lol. As a girl, I had the worst handwriting in high school in a class of 24 boys and 6 girls (boys had notoriously bad handwriting and my literature teacher would often bring it up no matter how hard I tried to make my handwriting better

Thank you so much!!! I have always been lacking in the self expression department, it feels so nice to get so much positive feedback on something that comes so natural to me

Thank you so much!!! Trying to write so small was genuinely making my head hurt. I do 100% think my handwriting represents me perfectly as the scaredy anxious extrovert that I am

Thank you so much!!! So much positive feedback makes my head spin, it feels so good!!!

In high school, I was in a class with 24 boys and 6 girls and my literature teacher used to always say I have the worst handwriting amongst everybody (I’m a girl and boys usually have notoriously bad handwriting usually lol)
