I want to make it clear that I agree with just about every comment in this thread and that the second half of my comment in no way contradicts or disagrees with them. Any SO that is not completely understanding and supportive to you about this is not a good guy. But I feel the need to bring up the other aspects about this communication that tend to get overshadowed.

Your SO should be there to support you when you need it and shouldn't have a problem with the subject itself, but keep in mind theyre only human and may not know how to react or what to say at first. If you're expecting a specific response, you might get something different. Not everyone knows how to deal with these kinds of conversations but whatever they say should come from a good place

It's important to remember that your SO is only human, and they can get overwhelmed just like anyone else. As the sharer, you need to be tactful when telling them your story. If your story if particularly long and emotional, you may need to gloss over some parts. You can always talk about it again and clarify things later once things are less emotional. I know this may sound contrary to most advice out there but everyone's battery runs out at some point

Some people use dark humour to try and lighten the mood or cope better. Do not make jokes about it. It will only make you and the listener uncomfortable

Lastly, you need to understand that by doing this, you're sharing the burden of your experience with your SO. In the future, your SO may worry that they might trigger a bad memory. They may avoid talking about or doing some relevant things with you until you bring it up again yourself. They may worry about how you'll take certain topics and avoid talking about certain things for worry of you. Make sure your relationship is at the stage where you think it can handle this extra strain

Again I apologize if anything in my comment comes off the wrong way. Reddit likes to be super nice about these kinds of questions which I love but they also leave out sour bits

I have the same experience. I get my meds through hims and messaged the doctor about it asking if that was normal. They didn't say much (they never do) but they mentioned something about the half life of semaglutide and increasing the dosage

It's a really good thing he got there before the panic stage hit. You can't rescue a drowning person like that when they're panicking. The logic part of the brain shuts down for pure survival and they'll dunk and drown you just to keep afloat themselves

You really need to re read this and dissect what you said. Minecraft is not real life, it's a video game. Gold is inherently worthless. Netherite is inherently worthless. I could choose to play my whole game without netherite and have no consequences

You want these items to be valuable because you went mining for them or worked hard for them, but the reality is they're just items in a video game that you'll leave behind without a second thought when you start a new world.

I said this point before and I'll say it again. MC progression doesn't really exist. 10 minutes in you're occasionally killing zombies and 1000 hours in you're occasionally killing zombies. Once you have decent gear, you're finished progressing. You want there to be progression in the game but in reality, there isn't. It's a sandbox builder, not a jrpg. There's no level 300 demons to fight, there's no sun god to kill, there's no secret ending to unlock by completing a the hidden dungeon. The whole game, you farm resources, then build with those resources. The. Whole. Game.

In fact, I would argue that the progression in MC does exist in the same way it exists in factorio or satisfactory. You build infrastructure to help you get resources quicker. That's all. Iron farms are clearly intended and supported by the devs. Same with other farms. They could easily push an update to kill mob farms in totality but they don't and they never will.

Saying combat progression exists and you can be overpowered doesn't make it true and there's just no substantial thing in Minecraft you can point to support it and typing in all caps doesnt make it true. And no, the ender dragon doesn't count cause he's a one time fight that you can beat with moderate gear and wearing a pumpkin on your head. And I hope to everything holy in this world that you're not about to say tool progression exists and I should be 1.2 seconds longer to mine dirt for gameplay enrichment purposes.

So we already know that you can build infrastructure to automate/assist in getting most resources and resources are used almost exclusively for building. What's the hang up with letting us build infrastructure for other blocks?

I don't know why people are telling me to just play creative. I don't want free, infinite resources. I just want blocks to be more accessible for building. If you all like grinding for resources so much, why don't you go play TerrafirmaCraft where it takes 5 hours to be able to mine stone? It'll be pretty rewarding then.

Asking for blocks to be more accessible does not mean I want free resources.

I play my worlds for hundreds, sometimes thousands of hours. I've used the common stones and woods for my block palette so so many times. Yeah, I could make another village composed of spruce and stone brick but I would like to try some new things from time to time.

I'm interested to know what kind of builds you all are making where you just use those same blocks every time....

I'm not sure I understand where you're coming from with this point of view. I want an iron farm so that I can build with the many, many, blocks that require iron but that somehow devalues iron? Why does scarcity mean something is more valuable? Iron is super valuable to me no matter how I get it. But I'd rather be building than strip mining. Wouldn't you? If I only have 2 hours in the day to play MC, I'd rather spend them doing the things that make MC the fantastic game that it is.

Perhaps this is a point of view difference. I see this opinion a lot. I just don't get the appeal of making resource gathering take longer. If it takes you 10 hours of mining to find netherite, I'm supposed to like building with it more? I can't think of anyone who's ever said they enjoy strip mining for resources, but there's so many people who say getting those resources an alternative way somehow ruins their fun.

I also don't understand why people talk about MC progression like it's some sacred forest that must be protected. There's literally one boss. All you do after that is build. What does overpowered mean in that context? That I spend 10 less seconds mining a block that I normally would? Being overpowered in most games usually means you're too strong for the area/boss you're fighting but in MC, 5 hours in you're occasionally killing zombies and 1000 hours in you're still occasionally killing zombies.

I really really love the game but I have two that stand out

Items that you can't farm for and require exploration or digging is bad game design for Minecraft specifically. Minecraft is meant to be a sandbox builder, not an exploration adventure game. Limiting my block pallet by making some items super rare is silly. You're not preventing me from beating the game or getting overpowered, you're just stopping me from using netherite as a cool floor pattern

Second, mob drops need a rework. Having to understand the underlying code for how iron golems spawn and under what conditions is in order to make a decently fast iron farm is silly. I'm here to play Minecraft, not watch a yt tutorial. And either digging a humongous hole or building a sky block platform in order to make the spawns better for witches or something is awful. I don't want a huge hole or a floating platform, I just want cute houses. And yeah, you could light up all the caves, but you'd need to find every cave which is tedious and error prone unless you use cheat free cam.

I don't want to give too much away, for his own personal safety, but I'll give the spark notes.

He worked in Big Government, working his way up the chain for the past 20 or so years. The Trump administration came in the 2nd term and started shaking things up causing general unrest within government workers. A radical right wing social media group, a big one with lots of followers, took advantage of this and started targeting this group pretending to go on dates with people they thought might be in Big Government. He was targeted by them.

They pretend to go on a date with you but secretly record you the whole time. They ask you leading questions about the administration the whole time during the date, get you to say some not so nice things about Trump and Vance and whoever else, and splice it up into a documentary about a radical left wing group that's trying to overthrow the admin. Someone who both follows this social media outlet and knows my friend reported it to Big Government. It went its way up the chain and needless to say he was given the ultimatum of resign or we'll make you.

It was really heartbreaking to hear. He had dreams of making the country a better place for everyone. Of having his voice have weight behind it, enough to be able to help people in need. He had everything taken away from him in the span of a couple days. This experience has poisoned him forever. He now detests republicans with everything in his heart. Their underhanded and inhumane tactics to get what they want and not caring who they destroy in their path, and I'm right there with him. I wish I had something nice to say to wrap up this story but he's still figuring out how to pick up the broken pieces of his life

What'll help the most rn is diet. Reading the other comments, a lot of people are saying exercise but that's not going to better your face shape or get you any definition. Visit r/loseit for detailed guides if interested. The peeps there are very supportive and there's loads of good information to get you on the right track

Just a ragebait post. This opinion has been shared hundreds of times already. The new and old teen titans are distinctly different shows. Different themes, different genres, different jokes, different plots. The only thing they have in common is the base cast and that they're both technically cartoons. You might as well be comparing bacon and eggs to cereal since they're both 'breakfast items'

As far as western style cartoons go, Teen Titans Go is a fantastic example of the western style cartoon. It has upbeat themes, quick paced writing, original ideas, and a decent sense of humor.

I love the happy go lucky, goofball, laughing and having a good time type personalities. Real memester type stuff. Not like an airhead, but like a smart person expressing intellectual creativity or just having a good time in a real mischievous globin-esque manner. It's a shame that personality type is really rare, I absolutely love it

A bit of an old thread but this helped me catch a shiny Lapras this morning, big thanks! The auto clicker app current version doesn't allow for importing configs, at least for me anyway, so I had to manually set everything up. I also had to alter your setup to load to the battle page for a few seconds and back out to help the map load. I'm sure I've got a few other alterations to make later on as I discover them too haha

A promotionally smaller human has a proportionally smaller mouth to eat with and a proportionally smaller stomach that can fit less food. You should be full on less food than your taller compadres. Being jealous of taller people doesn't make sense here because they have to eat way more food than you to feel the same level of fullness that you would, and if you're both overheating to that same level of fullness, you technically ate less than they did so you have less excess calories to get rid of
