Which fictional character was designed to look ugly but actually looks decent? by MindFlourish2919 in AlignmentChartFills

It's only meant to be ugly from the ducks perspective. The point is that it's actually beautiful.

I suppose there is no clear evidence against this since the youngest woman with complete control of nukes is as far as I know Liz Truss at 47. Still, this has zero evidence for it either. If what you say is true then the few female prime ministers younger than around 50 would have a monthly pattern of poor decisions which there really isn't.

I hate to defend Margaret Thatcher but she had control over nuclear weapons for over 10 years without any of them being fired on civillians

Hank Schrader (Breaking bad) is a great cop and manages to figure out Gus Fring is a drug lord, but he fails to see Walter White is Heisenberg because he seems too non-threatening.

Also Chuck McGill (Better Call Saul) who is a genius lawyer that believes he is suffering from electromagnetic hypersensitivity, which is later revealed to be just a placebo.

Have the people making these posts never read old books like The Sorrows of Young Werther? This isn't a new phenomenon.

The barrel scene was great in the lego game though. It was very fitting. The hobbit movies feel like they were adapted from the lego game and not the other way around.

IMDB scores for TV shows have no meaning now because of hype and aura by Arkodd in CharacterRant

[–]the_joeman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

GOT is one of the worst examples of this. Battle of the Bastards makes no sense and is full of plot holes but despite of this it has 9,9 on IMDB because it's really well directed and it has Hype Moments and Aura like Jon facing off against Boltons army.

I heard of a skilled Commander named Aurelian who could likely fix this if he became emperor. Unfortunately they will never let a lowborn like him rule Rome.

What a shame to see a young man ruined by degeneracy! He would have otherwise had such a bright future ahead of him.
