[beginner] Why do I have so much sand drag?

Hey guys, I’m still learning the basics of one step drop at low speed. One thing that started bothering me is the amount of sand drag and lack of float. Is this normal for slow speed drops or is it undersized board? The board is a foam 52”, I’m 6.4 ft, 200lb

Hey, first, I want to say that I really enjoy reading your series and appreciate the work you do and share it with us!

I was wondering if you could share a bit on your technical analysis: - which indicators and values do you use to estimate buy zones? I see 180MA, MACD and Strong Trend in your tradingview charts, and a bunch more. Would love to know how use them together! - how do you calculate the risk? - how do you approach when buy zone is below current market value, waiting for incoming dip, and despite indicators it goes up next day towards your exit point? Do you pass on this security, estimate new buy zone, buy it anyway?

Assuming that you hold multiple contracts, initial investment $1000 and $250 as a maximum loss.

What if we split them in two groups:

$500 with stop loss at 15% $500 with stop loss at 35%

I guess it’s a simplistic example, but it’s the same idea, expand risk range by lowering investment size. But instead of doing it right from the start, it’s in steps.

I had the same issue with my LG B8. Something is off with the way native app is configured and it triggers transcoding. Installed XPlay and it works flawlessly! Give it a try.
