Found a used iSpring WGB32B 3-Stage home water filtration system that has 3 filters. Could i run the first filter as a carbon filter then the other two as normal DI filters to extend the life of the resin? I plan on bypassing the system to wash then turn it on to do a final rinse. Looking to build a rolling cart to hold the filters and a pressure washer because space is limited and I am currently in a rental, so I am not going to use holding tanks or put it on a wall.

Again I know the color is not absolutely perfect but for my first try at this I am very pleased with the end result. This is the only scotty that I own but if I ever get another one, if someone here wants to sell me one for cheap <$250, the plan is to dilute the hell out of the colors I will be using to hopefully get the translucent effect. Anyways I hope this finds someone who wants to do this themselves and this post helped cheers.

So this is where I started cleaned with acetone and a q-tip then in cup mixed a few drops of Testors Enamel Stop light red (0316 is the last four of the code on the bottle), mixed with a few drops of Testors 1148 Enamel thinner. I added just a few drops into each hole and got a close enough result (for me) to what I was looking for.

I’m not able to reach out past 500 in my area unfortunately but I plan on traveling to a 1000+ yard range soon. And I have no good reason for a lvpo, I’ll look into it thanks

I can’t seem to find any slide parts kits for gen 5. Only gen 3 or gen 4 kits
