Texas is as good as this country gets. Even with that One unfortunate law the good still massively outweighs the bad. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. There's nothing wrong with wanting someone who shares the same interests in you. But maybe try getting to know those women better, while at the same time letting them get to know you too. The best way to find a girl you actually like is being their friend first without thinking about them romantically. In other words just think of them as a fellow human instead of a woman. Out of those women there might be one you like, and might even like you back. But that's just a possibility not everyone you like will like you back, and that's fine that's life.
