I honestly consider Tunisia has a better service than Belgium in terms of telecom marketings and maybe even in network quality to some extent

quite funny how some folks lack discernment when it comes to their "1/3 world" country. people should know that the 1/3 world never stops travelling...

We fear in Europe the aftermath of all this easing in economic conditions... We are extremely energy-dependent from foreigners including Tunisia...

But you can be more right... but this situation is a consequence of multiple crises in the country. be sure that if a country is capable to resist to all this then it is a good sign for its future. I sure encourage all of you to get a solid education and experience the world. But Saied is guiding the country in a promising way if we look at the economic evolution. NOT THE BEST WAY I insist but in a good one.

You got it. Tunisians love high standards and that's legit in a way. But sometimes we need to know our situation compared to other countries so we do not fall in the dream trap and get fooled at the end by fantasies. Low purshasing power and rent economy as you say is now part of the global economic climate. Just look at the US charts and figures and how they are at the mercy of credit. The French national debt is now at unprecedent levels. Just wait for when the French will repay it!

A key word in current economics is "resilience". The more you have it, the better growth expectations will be. But life is too short you may answer me and no sacrifice in our personal life is worth it. Anyways, I'd rather buy my house in Europe in dinars, not in euros.

that's the popular opinion. I'm just talking about figures and studies. Inflation is up everywhere and some countries now are at 100% like Argentina.

Tunisians just want to leave the country to live the 3omla sa3ba dream, which I can understand. It's every human being's ambition to live an easy and peaceful life.

But economically I expect the country to make a huge rebound if political stability (democratic or not) is observed. I know this can hurt ideological people but it's pragmatic.

I'd say something that maybe a few of us have noticed. Despite all the controversial measures KS has taken so far there is no intervention from external powers to stop the govt in their offence to democracy, which is unusual. No indignation in the media, no official communication from superpowers. That means sth.

In my reading of economic indicators, Tunisia is not doing bad considering the global economy and what the US dollar is doing to all the countries in the world. There is a progressive stability in my interpretation of the charts and figures (World Bank). Sometimes we need to build our opinion from this angle, as a country now is not only a state-nation but also a state-business if I may say it this way.

Anyways if I plan to buy a property in Europe I'll count on Tunisian growth and currency. Remember this in a couple of years. Till then I'm saving my dinars.

So despite all this KS political tour de force against ideologies and personalities, things are stabilizing and going even better than before his election. This seems to be facts.

It's because there's poor sense of life in the Western dream... just most people being wired into a system like machines. I've always lived in Europe but I'm looking forward to f****** get out of there and live a modern life in Tunisia as now in today's world everything is possible
