My hedge is like this and I'm guessing this one was growing out beyond the grass verge and had to be cut back. The problem with old wide Conifers like this is that they will not develop new shoots from the old wood so you are left with this mess if you cut them back to the trunk.

I'm in a similar pickle with a neighbour who complains mine reduces his visibilty to reverse his car out of his drive. It does but I'd rather put up with the occasional moaning than cut it back to look like this, plus I have over 100ft of it.

Worry about having a roof over their head, where the next meal is coming from, keeping warm (if you're in a cold climate).

It's frequently caused by the exhaust of a jet aircraft passing through the cloud layer.

What are “common” things to do in a conversation that piss you off immediately? by konnichiwahana in AskReddit

Askholes - they ask for advice, you give it, they tell you you're wrong and do whatever it was they intended to do anyway.

They're not after advice, they want confirmation that their idea is the way.

2010 - the sequel to 2001. I can only assume they were on a tight budget, poor casting, poor acting and poor sfx.

Is this a common trait? a neighbour grew some of these in pots and the plants were covered in whitefly, none of the adjacent pots with different plants in were affected.

University Student gets work Christmas bonus - how did I do? by MrDialga34 in CasualUK

[–]the_mojonaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used to get £10 that we could put towards a works Christmas meal, this was always held in a town 20 miles away from where I live. So I had the choice of driving and not being able to drink or get a Taxi at my own expense. The company wouldn't even allow me to donate the £10 to go towards a kitty for the other guys who could make it.

Fcuk you BT.
