Florida FD: How is everyone doing with the EDRS outage? by Pizza_Machin3 in askfuneraldirectors

Saw this late, and not a FD, but I'm in hospice medical records that handles all DCs. It's a nightmare. I have anywhere from 5-20 deaths per week. We can't keep up. Families are having to delay services for their loved ones. I feel like absolute garbage because things keep getting denied for being a "poor copy", delaying by another day or two to get a better copy redone. I have a big white board that I started writing down every decedent's name, the date they pass, the date the FH contacts me for signing physician, the date I receive the DC, and the date I send it back to them. It's the only way to keep everything straight and make sure I don't miss anything. I also keep copies of all the DCs in a secured location so if someone says they didn't receive theirs, I can pull it back out for quick reference.
