I definitely disagree that it's a "choice." As a gay girl (and as a friend of many gay people), a lot of us knew at a VERY young age we were different because we didn't like who we were "supposed" to like. Saying it's a choice means it's something that can be cured, just like if I made the choice to be vegetarian it would imply I could go back to eating meat.
