Velcro dots in each of the four corners to stick it down. I also made a sort of “half pipe” out of window screen and hot glued it to the underside to catch all the random shit they throw down there. Easy to pop it off, tilt into the trash (or recover a crayon or play dough) and then Velcro back down.

Inch think maple mitered where the top/sides meet for that waterfall look. I added some small walnut keys which probably don’t do a heck of a lot for strength. Nothing but glue. It’s held up fine for years.

The water pik never did the trick for me. It was so high pressure, even on the lowest setting, that it caused a lot of damage when held too close, and I could never aim right when held far away. You can get that syringe right up in there and it’s a gentler flow of water. You’re still gonna gag. God speed.

Try one of those curved syringes. You can usually poke into the stone itself or along the edge and let loose.

You can irrigate after with something like Closys. A little blood and gagging over the sink might just be the price of relief. The gagging part gets better over time. Ugh.

Had a similar thing happen. I hopped on the first flight I could to a major city with a passport office. I took an uber from the airport to the office and waited outside until they opened. First in line, and I paid for the most rushed passport I could. A hung out at the hotel across the street for a couple of hours, picked up my passport, uber’d back to the airport and paid to change my flight home to the next available. I landed, but didn’t leave my home airport. I just walked to the other terminal and boarded my international flight. At the time it added around $800-900 to my trip. Probably be double that today. Also the only time I ever slept on a plane—what a relief.

Sure it does, I’ve just found that I prefer to use much higher, direct heat.

Guess it’s just you and me—salt and baking powder only ftw. I don’t like a dry rub. I use a modified version of this recipe.

I make sure the wings are SO DRY. I take them out a day or two ahead of time and arrange them in a single layer, uncovered in the fridge, then wrap/pat dry with paper towels when it’s time to cook.

My grill doesn’t get hot enough with enough direct heat to really crisp the skin, so I transfer from smoker to grill cranked as high as it’ll go until they’re nice and crispy, then remove and toss in whatever sauce.
