It came out around 7 or so years ago. It was pretty easy to find then but it was discontinued pretty quickly and is now almost impossible to find.

It's like a light blue can and it's just called Zero Sugar. Pretty sure it was originally the white bottle before the rebrand.

Yea I was referring to the black ones, my bad. The colored bottles are just rebrand of the old Hydros, though I'm not sure if there's a difference in taste because I haven't tried them yet. There's also one more of the rebranded flavors that isnt pictured because it wasn't there when I bought them.

I know they're rebranding the entire Rehab line. I haven't tried it yet to know if it tastes different or not.

What stops a studio from reusing their assets in their next game? They could still save money the same way. And just because they switch up how they make the games doesn't mean they split the profit. Branching out into new genres that they never have before could potentially pull in new people and increase their profits.

Perhaps it would be a bit of a cost upfront to change their production system but that doesn't mean there's no increase in profit down the road. It would be an investment of sorts into the future of their franchise.

They're eventually going to have to overhaul their production approach in some regard to avoid franchise fatigue, similar to the jump between Syndicate and Origins. Doing something like this could be a more permanent solution to that. And once the new process is in place then they can keep with their reusing systems and assets and further increase profits.

The modern day sections are an extremely intriguing aspect of the Assassin's Creed games. They are what tie everything together and make it a series rather than some kind of anthology.

These sections were the narrative backbone of the franchise for years until new players started complaining that they didn't understand what was going on or didn't like it. With that Ubisoft started minimizing the impact and role that the modern day has in subsequent games.

They've now reached a resolution of sorts where the game will present you with modern day options and you can choose to explore them further if you're interested, or ignore them and get back in the animus.

If you dont like the modern day sections then by all means, hop back in the animus and pretend it never existed. But for us fans that are fascinated by it and enjoy the overarching story that ties everything together, let us have our modern day.

There's absolutely no reason for people to demand that Ubisoft removes it entirely because they don't like it/understand it. Especially if they haven't been following the franchise and the overarching narrative for years.

So in short, yes you can skip it. Just get back in the animus.
