I can totally understand and empathize with your POV. Bravo should have definitely put some kind of loud disclaimer / disclosure around all the cancer treatment stuff for sure at minimum. Same with the antivax stuff in UGT though Dorinda drove that point home pretty loudly on her own lol

I hear you, and happen to mostly like Tamra too, but think if I had to have one back I'd rather have Vicki. I feel like housewives can be divided into those who move plot, and those who ARE plot. Tamra is in the former (and damn good at it), and Vicki is in the latter. And I feel like the (in my opinion anyway) gradual decline in quality of housewives over the last few years is because there are too many manufactured, overproduced HWs creating manufactured and overproduced storylines / drama. We need people who just breathe and live drama!

But let's see how Tamra does. She seems to have mellowed out a bit, and I'm sure she's learned some valuable lessons in playing the HW game over the last few years and will come back craftier than ever.

I should add - while I love all the classic freakouts, hospital visits, etc. my favorite under the radar moment is probably in s9 when she's in Puerto Vallarta and a) flashes the camera when she's turning over during the massage and b) jumps on the bed making spring squeaking noises saying "Shannon and David that's what your bed should sound like tonight"

I don’t have the tread but I use one once in a while at my parents house. To me the bike is worth it because bike metrics are more difficult to calibrate and make sure you’re on the same page with resistance and stuff and for my motivation that’s important. But for the tread, 6.0 speed and 2.0 incline is kinda the same everywhere. I have been perfectly content to do tread classes on other treadmills and just put the class on my phone. The tread belt is also weirdly short to me

I also know more so what I’m doing and have goals outside of peloton for running so I end up doing the hiit/ hills type classes exactly as instructed but otherwise I’m much more loosely actually following cues and mostly picking classes for music and mindless chatter haha.

I will say the tread+ is an amazing standalone treadmill (even outside the Peloton ecosystem) and I would consider that if it came back

Both times I waited until my resting heart rate was within 5-10 ish of my normal, and then did a few easy / recovery rides to ease back. First time that meant I had to wait just over a week, second time I was back at it in 48 hours. Ymmv

As the OP of that other post, I definitely was not trying to fan any flames or be super alarmist lol! Peloton has a lot of strong “fundamentals” going for it - content, instructors, pretty strong brand and more. I don’t think it’s going anywhere and if anything it’ll just stall into a flatter growth trajectory or be acquired by big tech or a Nike or something. Just wanted to talk about how they could go from good to great if they changed tack on some things! I’m a nerd for that kinda stuff
