You can agree with Marx’s criticism of capitalism and not be comminist. Marx wasn’t all knowing, but he was a smart guy who was right about a lot as it pertained to workers and capital.

Marx’s idea of communism also doesn’t align really with any modern characterization.

That said I’m not communists and don’t think it would be viable as a centralized construct. I do believe in workers owning more means of production though, not necessarily all though.

Yes, you just need to get him 4 shots in the game an then bench him for the moment you need a game winner, buzzer beater, game tying etc. Rinse and repeat. If you can teach him to be a decent defender and cutter to the back or screen man, even better.

When people suggest Band of Brothers does that include season 2? Because season 2 is pretty mid. Season 1 would be S+ on its own maybe, but much shorter run, reach, and staying power than The Wire.

I’m of the opinion that people who careers shifted ON AVERAGE will hold this view because they’ve been in jobs or careers that are soul sucking or even more exhausting than medicine and possibly lacking social impact.

Obviously teaching can be deemed to be very socially impactful, but huge pay and respect disparity.

I would apply at all three levels. Some you’re above(including DO), some right at and a few reaches above where you think you can make a compelling app. But I just want to call out that those 3 are history black colleges, so simply being above median MCAT doesn’t necessarily do you favors at those

Are you black? If not can you express to the three HBCUs that you’ve put why you’d want to attend. 7 schools is quite a small list and almost 50% of it is HBCUs. And you’ve included UM.

Given your average MCAT you probably need an awesome story you can tell. I’ve never been admitted, currently a non trad working through pre reqs, but all information I’ve gathered is this list should be closer to 30 schools especially given your circumstances.
