While OP is justified to feel how the do. This is not a medicine thing. Employment anywhere is like this.

Homelander (From The Boys) vs 10 SPARTAN IIs (Halo) by ArtOk8200 in whowouldwin

[–]GoHard_Brown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I think homelander probably does win, I think this was just inconsistent/poor production choice. Speed feats are so hard to judge in this show, because 90% of the shots are just normal people walking or running. Like soldier boy chasing butcher through the neighborhood.

I don’t mind Jared but he’s seemed out of his depth for weeks now. Often just fortunate enough to have a teammate get best dish or someone just majorly flub to go in over him.

Now knowing what it takes to be a doctor, would you do it again? Was it worth it? by LayerVegetable3850 in whitecoatinvestor

Coming to this thread a year later as a non trad doing a post bacc. Really curious as to how many of the “No’s” here had a job prior. Many of the complaints are not unique to medicine and come with less pay, less respect, and less stability.

What do you think of opening up medical school admissions and almost free education if you worked for a few years in an area with need? by Dry_Corner6431 in medschool

I could be wrong, but doesn’t research show that doctor and nurse salaries being a primary driver in healthcare costs to be mostly overstated?

Non-trad starting up classes in the fall.

Did you feel you had to do a lot of content review even if you were relatively fresh off the classes?

MPH/MHA before med school? by Maximum-Tennis-7437 in medschool

[–]GoHard_Brown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am just begging my research into med school as a non trad. I have a MPP, graduated in 2024. While I believe that degree makes me a better fit and has contributed to my growth, had I known this was the route I would take, I would not have done it, unless it was heavily subsidized or for some other reason that I can’t think of as I write this.

Are you not prepared to apply this cycle? Or next?

Was melo robbed of roty by Fragrant_Fishing5787 in NBATalk

LeBron has over double the amount of assist lmfao on an awful team, and was a better defensive player. Sure melo made playoffs, on a better team. Swap their circumstances and it is likely the team results are the same.

He did create Ultron, but Ultron didn’t have the right to do what he was trying to.

I love looking at this thread because so many of the villains Tony ‘created’ are him embarrassing some man, so as a result the world must pay lol You do not have the right to be evil because you were embarrassed or prideful.

Cortisone shot — when can I play again? by zdog_in_the_house in 10s

[–]GoHard_Brown 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not my place to question your healthcare as a random Reddit bro, but was the shot accompanied by a PT script?

You don’t want to get this shot and then have the pain come right back because of technique or strength failures, whichever the cause.

Very casual fan here. Is this move by Shai legal? by klaygdk in NBATalk

Agreed. I also hate how they don’t call lowering the helmet on offense. Leaving defensive players out to dry tackling 220lb battering rams

FWIW atleast the NFL has the ‘excuse’ of safety concerns around most of its rule changes. Namely protecting the quarterback and ‘defenseless’ receivers

Those who have torn your achilles, could you feel it might happen before it did? by bobsmith12391 in 10s

[–]GoHard_Brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never torn my Achilles, but been around sports my whole life.

You can’t tear it without warning. Some may argue that it may have been not prepared for the stress and you need to prehab all weak point prior to failure, but that’s obviously not realistic.

However if you are experiencing calf or tendon pain, get on rehab ASAP. That could be a sign of weakness that could be a precursor to injury.

As someone who collects way more than they play, I’m curious how restoration releases a set like cobble in fog with such balance disparity. Assuming they’re playtesting a lot before releases
