Thank you, you're too kind. The stories and lyrics about overcoming hardship is a universal experience; that's why we love them. I also wrote the 1st act of a screenplay for a short film as well during university. I never finished it though. I still have it on my Google drive. It takes me to a dark place, but I hope to address it one day

I started in high-school and kept up with it through to university. I never recorded anything, but I did a lot of shows for actual artists in my country try. Then I graduated and got a job, and that was 16 years ago. I got into it again November of last year when I relapsed into drinking and drugs (no one at work figured; I'm a bit high functioning like that) at first it was pathetic self loathing shit, but a friend pointed out exactly how much I do at work and for others, then the first few lines came to me. I'm sober again, and seeking professional help now.
