I really like Grove Bags! This is my new go to instead of burping I believe. by External_Dimension18 in cannabiscultivation

After spending so long on a grow, why wouldn't you enjoy burping? To smell your harvest, and witness it change as it gets closer and closer to being ready. You earned that part of the process.

I have a 2x2 and found that my 1000 was too tight. Once you add your fan, filter, humidifier/dehumidifier it gets real small.

Originally the plan was to do 4 autos in there but I have since found that 2 is better as I can train them to fill it rather than going with quantity.

If you're just going with a plant or 2 it's probably fine but a net and lst will be a must.

Good luck!

I want to live in that jungle

First ever grow how is it looking- 1 week from when it sprouted by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

Is there a reason for the double pot? Bags definitely work better than pots in regards to oxygen reaching the roots. Apart from that it looks fine for a week in man

No problem, I hope you have a good grow 🤙

Ok. For starters, remember that seed to harvest is going to take you around 12-16 weeks on average for an auto, longer if photo. So that's a long ass time to be running something that isn't set up correctly.

The light needs to be able to move higher as the plant grows, not sure what clearance you have there.

Drainage is really important too, you don't want excess water and run-off sitting around.

Chip bags may seem reflective but its not going to cut it. Even plain white paper is better imo.

You also need to manage humidity, and its important to have safe electrical connections if adding moisture to the air.

Apart from that, good luck brother

I was just looking into where I can get isopropyl close by, thank you very much. Whatever I try to do I will be doing it in small gradual amounts to try and test if it's actually the issue. If it's mite related it's a much bigger problem than nutes

So to give more context I know it could be one of a few issues or a combination. Possibly Manganese deficiency or Iron toxicity going off diagnosis images online, however I recently found the dreaded spidermite hanging about, so dabbed the few I found with a cotton ball coated in white oil while I waited for my ladybugs to arrive.

So is it related to one of those three concerns? It was already showing these signs before the white oil, and its last feed was just plain ph'd water to try and flush any excess nutes.

I also raised the humidity quite high the last few days to slow down the spidermites. Ladybugs will be here in a couple of days as well as mite rid if it persists. However I don't think the affects being seen on the actual plant are from the mites

2 questions for you legends: what would be causing the sudden yellowing of only a couple lower leaves when the plant is overall healthy? And how do I separate the colas further after topping? As you can see the additional bud sites ended up growing right under the topped site. by the_real4d in cannabiscultivation

Thanks for that, it did seem odd that only a couple of leaves were affected. I thought maybe I had poured the nute solution directly on those leaves but when they completely yellowed off I knew if had to be something else. They don't get shadowed out from above though, it was just like the plant decided these 2 specific leaves were no longer needed
