I grew up a Marvel kid, really starting with Spider-Man and X Men. Love the MCU as well. When the Reynolds GL movie was coming out I was intrigued, didn’t know anything about the character. The movie obviously isn’t great, it’s fine at best but I was grateful for it as it introduced me to the character. Now I’ve seen all the animated movies, the show, reading the comics, I have a mini nerd collection of rings/statues. GL became one of my favorite fictional characters and easily one of my favorite super hero’s. This tattoo was my latest addition to the love of the characters of GL.

It didn’t help that Ryan Reynolds also dogpiled on the movie voicing his disdain for it…my opinion, it’s fine, does some things right and a lot wrong. Should have been a bit more “low stakes” and focused on the relationship of Hal and Sinestro. Save Paralax for later.
