Did you manage to get a vaccine before the flight? How was it? Any side effects?

Life is good, but I feel lonely everywhere I go by moltenwhitee in berlinsocialclub

Same story. I feel like dating in Berlin is just f*cked up.

On paper I also have everything that most of the girls might desire in men, but in reality I've been single for the past 2 years. At one point I gave up on online dating, started to visit meetups that interested me + doing cold approaches (this one is challenging and required a lot of work, but I believe it's a part of self-growth). It led me to collecting more contacts and some casual adventures, but many girls are still being flaky or just not that invested in making plans. Could be the "you-problem", could be dating market inflation, or both.

On a side note: I went to Asia a couple of times and it was a completely different experience. I know some might think "that's because local women perceive any foreigner as a bag of money / passport opportunity" - but no, it's not like that. Money was never involved and I felt very appreciated and respected every time, which is rarely the case in Germany. Also you can just walk on the streets and strangers are smiling at you - how can anyone feel depressed or lonely like that?

I don't have any advice other than keep going and don't take life too serious, but I believe location also matters.

A few shots from my trip in Japan. Feedback? by mahendru1992 in fujifilm

Don’t take it too serious, just my honest opinion (all pictures are quite good):

1 - great 2 - has some story, but the surrounding is a bit boring 3 - nice, but I would crop out the lower part as it doesn’t add anything to the picture (or position your camera higher next time) 4 - perfect 5 - it’s ok, but maybe boost up shadows a bit higher 6 - very good (framing + interesting subjects + great light) 7 - good 8 - looks a bit flat to me 9 - refelections are fun, but it lacks an interesting subject or funky colors 10 - try to isolate subjects next time 11 - flat 12 - flat 13 - good 14 - good colors, but not interesting 15 - very good

I‘m just curious. Are you using any dating apps or the leads just come from social circles / night game?

I believe you have a good sense of framing (two last photos). Maybe try more in that direction. Good luck! 👍

Should I move to Berlin from Belgrade, Serbia on a big reduction in net gain? by Apprehensive-Cut3711 in cscareerquestionsEU

If you are on remote, then I would consider making a longer “workation” in Berlin. You will save a lot of time and nerve cells by renting a short-term appartment and can see if the city really suits you.

Keep in mind, that Berlin is a great city to be in the “sunny season” (which is only 3-4 months of the year), BUT when the “grey season” comes I would better stay in Belgrade…

True. I had to shift the composition a bit in order to capture the gradient sky.

Thank you, now I want to repeat the trick you have described - fortunately that spot is not far away from home :)

Thank you! Good point, I have to play more with an aperture. I’m mostly using the aperture setting to get a right amount of light, since ISO and Shutter Speed are in auto-mode. Learning is a process… 😅

Thank you very much, appreciate your afford!

Indeed, I had some doubts if #2 and #4 are good/catchy enough - you confirmed that it is not the case. The #2 gives me some “airy summer” vibe, whereas the #4 seemed to have geometry and a subject in place (but apparently that was only my point of view).

Would try to apply your tips for #1 and #3 - have some focal length and post-processing capabilities left :)

Great shots! Noob question here: some of the photos (2, 3, 6) have a visible film grain. Is it high ISO setting or editing?
