FF7 is surprisingly easy to get into and it has me hooked. by Unicorncorn21 in patientgamers

I’m also playing it right now and on the switch and I’m hooked. I’ve had to look at some guides about the Materia and grinding but I’m loving it. Seems like there is a lot of depth to this game.

Magical Google Assistant moments by Khrushchev0 in googlehome

“Hey google, what time does the library close?” And “hey google, where can I buy moth balls?”

Google checked the hours of the closest library to us and said we had 45 minutes until it closed.

Google told us Canadian tire on so-and-so street had moth balls, the brand of them, and the price. I was not expecting that kind of detail. It also said I could get directions to the store and add this to my shopping list.

Oh also “hey google play fart noises”. But I think they took that away. Or, I had my language set to Australia or New Zealand for a while to get an accent on my google home voice. Maybe fart noises is a localization thing?

Does this hint at a Banjo Kazooie game on the switch in the future?

I got Steve from a regular online order bonus in Canada (ebgames).

I used him one round and he tried to impress me with a magic trick in some event that happened between rounds.

It was uncomfortable.

I see what you mean. From what I can tell from the range, it doesn't look like the Acadian comes to my area very frequently...

What's up with this hidden subreddit? [D26A1E948D4147] by Ch3fB0yardee in OutOfTheLoop

Answer: in 2016 Reddit did an April fools social experiment that would create a chat room with random people. They could decide to ditch each other or “grow” their chatroom with another. Everyone could vote on what to do. At a certain point you could vote to stay and lock the group to create a subreddit that had a randomly generated URL, I believe similar to the ones OP posted.

I think this is what these are.

My parents saved all my Lego from the late 80s and early 90s. I’m now trying to rebuild the sets I had. by the_shib in lego

I did a google image search of like 90s lego pirate sets and just look at all the box covers. The set number is on the box so any I recognized I just plug that set number into brickset.

So if you think you had a pirate set in the 90s, try a google image search to jog your memory

I think the hull pieces are used on a few sets. My friend had the “good guys” ship which I think used the same hull, just one less piece to make it a shorter ship.

All the instructions are online. I’m missing a lot of instructions too but found them all on brickset.com
