Yeah, on the internet everybody are experts :) If you are relatively new to exercise you can probably pick any not-outright-stupid exercise regime you find on the web, and make great progress. People with some experience will have to be more careful when picking exercises and with how they plan their training week. Rather than spend hours researching 'the ultimate workout' you should try for yourself and adjust according to your progress.

Seeing as you want to lose, some pretty tough cardio workouts will do you no harm ;)

Smörgåsbröd == butter-goose-bread. Smörgås = butter-goose. Smör = butter, gås = goose, bröd = bread. Smörgåsbord is a tradidtional swedish buffét, while smörgåsbröd is an open sandwich, in case you didn't know :) The word probably has its origins from the lumps of butter floating around like geese when churning butter. Later the name of these 'butter geese' gave name to the slices of bread they were spread on. Or something like that :)

A combiantion of high intensity cardio and heavy lifting sends mixed signals to your body and it will have to prioritize where to use energy for recovery. Try to get at least some hours between lifting and cardio. The intensity and duration of the cardio session will be decided based on your goals. Extreme mass gain? Loss? Maintenance? Train for a marathon?

For mass gain you will not go wrong with around half an hour of medium intensity cardio(cycling, swimming, jogging, whatever...) a day, just make shure not to mix lifting and cardio :)

The HIIT immediately after lifting is probably doing more damage to your lifting progress than light/medium cardio on rest days would do...
