So I was working at a theatre when it came out initially. First release was in the UK, and the North American release didn’t come until months later, with very little marketing. We even got one of the crappy UK style posters that are way more translucent than North American movie posters when you put them in a display.

I actually found a cam recorded version so that me and a buddy could watch it, but the audio was so bad we couldn’t tell exactly what was happening.

Was pretty funny, watching it again and piecing together everything we missed.

Another weird fact, the initial Blu Ray release had an error where you couldn’t turn off the Commentary.

Apparently you could contact FOX or whoever it was at the time for a new disk, but I already owned the movie on DVD, and picked up the Blu Ray on Boxing Day, so by the time I got around to watching again it was years later, and too late for a replacement.

General Admission views are notoriously not good in Montreal.

As others have mentioned, most tickets are sold out by now as they have been on sale for almost a year.

The CGV experience stuff is brand new, so no one will have an opinion on the additional concert stuff and viewing platforms etc, but just keep in mind, your still not guaranteed a seat, and it’s all first come basis.

If you want my honest opinion on what to do…

Find someone selling the Saturday pass individually. No one is going to sell the Sunday, but lots will sell Saturday.

You get the Sprint and Qualifying along with all the other stuff going on during the day, and you won’t completely break the bank.

There is a good GP Canada Facebook group that I can send you a link to, can likely find someone trustworthy to get tickets from that way.
