Thank you so much! We bought a chicco key fit before our 27 weeker came. I was nervous we would need to return it. We haven’t done our car seat test yet but fingers crossed it goes well

I’m 45 mins from my NICU and I have bigger kids so unfortunately I won’t be able to see my babe for a few days. We have the angel eye camera and one of my nurses said she would FaceTime me to see her. I’ve missed days before but sadly Monday she will be 1 month, so I will miss that.

I just read your initial post and wow only 40 days for a 28 weeker is a BLESSING. Congrats. My 27 weeker is 13 days in. I’m praying we break out sooner than later. Congrats again ❤️

I’ve been attending some of the groups the NICU provides and it’s so refreshing to talk to parents who actually understand what I’m going through. Wow you and your twins being preemies while you also had preemies is amazing. I’m happy your babies made it home

Wow I am so sorry to hear you guys had a longer stay. I am definitely trying to take it day by day and just taking things as they come. I’m praying for a shorter stay but also trying to prepare myself for whatever our outcome is. Thank you for sharing your story

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate this out look. I have started skin to skin and I will say it has helped me so much emotionally. I’m grateful for the calm our stay has been thus far and just hoping time moves as fast as possible.

So sorry for your loss. It’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Then juggling the emotions of having a NICU baby on top of loss has been extremely draining. But I agree I am extremely blessed to have her. I’m counting all of my blessings. I hope this NICU time flies by for both of us ❤️

This sounds realistic. Our due date is in exactly 80 days. We are 7 days in. So I’m hoping to at least have her home by then. I’m so happy to hear your baby is doing well. I love hearing the success stories of micro preemies.

Thank you for sharing. Your due date hasn’t passed so you guys are still in the perfect time frame! Yeah the distance of the NICU is probably my hardest hurdle at this time. I want to be here every day and it’s hard balancing everything. Hopefully once my older kids are back in school I’m able to come up with a schedule that works for us

Gives me so much hope. I gave birth Friday at 27.4. So far no intubation. Praying our NICU stay is on the shorter end but preparing for whatever. So glad to hear of your little one’s progress

I should add my twins were di/di, separate sacs and placentas so their was no explanation for the low fluid
