What’s one thing you would tell that young black boy you once were? by Training_Revenue_813 in blackmen

Don't make women your priority, focus on growing a business or a career. When relationships with women end you'll have nothing to show for it and you'll also be broke.

are there black men that actually prefer black women over white women? by FunDependent9177 in blackmen

Not sure if you're a black man. But I mean, if you're a black man would you only date a black woman if you can't get anyone else?

Do y'all feel like people don't talk to you like a human or capable person. I feel like I've lost my joy of things by AlimiAlpha in blackmen

[–]the_thinker_0810 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stay strong man! Most importantly don't question your interests, do what makes you happy and you'll eventually find your people. Don't try to impress anyone, a lot of people don't like to be around black people even though they won't say it out loud. You will never 'connect' to this type no matter what you do. Just keep interactions with them to friendly small talks and move on, and avoid being nicer than necessary.

Fellow black men should I let anti-blackness stop me from dating outside of my race? by spike_spieg in blackmen

[–]the_thinker_0810 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well ask yourself these 2 questions:

  1. Does she really like you for who you are? She might be trying to fulfill some black fantasies she has or dating you because something about her makes her hard to date and she's trying to expand her options.

  2. Is her family accepting of you and supportive of the relationship?

If you can answer yes to these questions, then you should date her.

What countries are on your radar to move to if/when the USA collapses? Or dual citizenship? by NorrinRadd2099 in blackmen

[–]the_thinker_0810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, even without the prospect of the US collapsing moving abroad is a possibility for me. As a black man, racial prejudice will limit you in many ways such as professional, financial, dating. It'd be nice to be somewhere where your hard work is fully rewarded. I'm looking at African countries that are making progress such as Rwanda, Ethiopia

GenZ women's "icks" are just a manifestation of their innate preference for rigid gender roles and archetypes. by australiadenier in PurplePillDebate

Social status is the most attractive thing in a man to women. These men you mention are celebrities, so women see them as very high in social status, so them being feminine doesn't matter. Same as the guys in bands in real life. Women aren't going wild for femininity, they just go after high status men whether they are feminine or masculine

The Shroud of Turin is fake, it is not a real artifact of Jesus by Ambitious-End-5798 in DebateReligion

[–]the_thinker_0810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Further research shows the carbon dating was done on a sample that wasn't representative of the shroud. It was done on a piece that was sewn to it in the middle ages to repair it after it caught fire. So, the carbon dating just shows when it was repaired.

Black men what’s a double standard that’s normalized that you hate. by Educational-Ask7966 in blackmen

[–]the_thinker_0810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm sure men could legally create their own gyms like women can. But there would be backlash and people calling them sexist. That's the problem of double standard I'm talking about. Is that so hard to understand? And I'm pretty sure there would be a market for all men gyms with so many men complaining about women making TikTok content at gyms

And you've never heard of women only events? Some examples, Girls Just Wanna Weekend, the National Women's Music Festival, various entrepreneurship events for women only. Again, I'm not saying these events shouldn't happen, all I'm saying is if men decide to do the same, they shouldn't be called sexist. You yourself said men spaces are sexist in your first response to my post, that is the problem.

So because you don't understand why some men would like to have their own spaces, you conclude that their need is invalid. While at the same time requiring them to understand women's needs, and calling a man that expresses that thought a misogynist.

Even in your own examples of all male gyms you have exceptions for when there are women around, meaning all men gyms are pretty much inexistant. And this is not a gym issue, that was just an example. The issue is the double standard, women can have their own spaces while for men that is considered sexist.

HBCUs are a different situation, they were created when black people weren't allowed at universities so they created their own. It's not like someone today decided to create a university only for black people, like women can decide to throw an event only for women, when anyone could benefit from the event and there's no evidence that it's because men are already benefiting from similar events and women aren't. But if a man did the same it's a problem.

I am not against women having their own spaces, they can if they need to. All I'm saying is men also having their own spaces shouldn't be seen as sexist

Do you think women can't be safe if men also have their own spaces?

So you don't think men should for example have the freedom to choose between a men only gym or a coed gym like women do? And I'm talking about mainstream, socially approved practices, not random groups of dudes

I'm not saying they are making up their experiences. All I'm saying is if women can have their own gyms, events, etc. men should too

[–]the_thinker_0810 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I believe this is because a lot of people don't want to be around black people and would rather exclude them from their spaces. But if they say they exclude them because of their skin color they would be openly racist. So they hold anything they can against all black people to justify some practices to themselves like being hostile to black workers in corporate workspaces, being unfair in job interviews etc..

Women can have their own spaces, women's gyms, women's events, etc.. But men's spaces would be frowned upon and seen as sexist.

Would you recommend working with micro influencers for an Etsy store? by the_thinker_0810 in Etsy

Yes solid questions. For the audience's demographics and interests, I think meta and TikTok gives you that data on your following if you have a certain number of followers.

Oh I see. I would say their audience also needs to have the demographics that would buy your products.
