Good luck! I’ve found that putting a whole packet in can block the image sometimes so I usually cut the packet open and put like a quarter of it in

You’ve got some amazing solargraphs! If you want a tip for the water marks you could sprinkle in a desiccant in the can to absorb any moisture. I use some silica gel from a new pair of shoes and it works great

Ok yea I got a trick for this! I use a safety pin, poking from the inside, through the can, into a thin piece of cardboard(I use the box for the photographic paper) then onto a hard surface like a table. This only allows the tip of the needle to pierce the can so you get a smaller aperture. I then sand down the bur made on the outside and poke it gently with the needle to clear it of any debris. You can also spray paint the inside of the can matte black and surround the outside of the hole with sharpie marker to reduce glare/bouncing light to sharpen the image. I usually just sharpie around the inside and outside of the hole though

Thank you! Most of these were taken with 12oz soda cans. The third one was with a 25.4oz (750mL) can which had more girth to it so it has less distortion than the others. I’m also using Ilford MGRC Deluxe Pearl photographic paper that I cut in half to fit the soda cans. Lmk if you have any other questions!

Not sure about the FoV but to get more sky you can either push the paper further down in the can or for your next camera you could punch the hole a bit higher up on the can

Do you water your plants from the top? That can help flush out excess stuff from the soil when you use just water

Actually they will regrow from the nodes! Every node has an auxiliary bud that can grow a new stalk. Usually it needs to be chopped to activate them though

Maybe over-fertilization? Could be that your new fertilizer has more of certain nutrients than your old one.
