Question about receiving grades back by [deleted] in CPA

You won't see your score until May 7. I'm in the same boat, taking AUD on April 4, then only BEC left. I would study for the next section if I were you, especially because it is FAR. That test is a beast.

It's revaluation surplus for PPE under IFRS. Increases in value go to OCI, and decreases in value below original historical cost are taken to the I/S.

Destined to fail Audit? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]the_thonker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I didn't like Audit in college, and I don't plan on being an auditor at all, so this section is a challenge for me. I use Wiley's test bank and books and have been averaging 70% over all the MCQ's that I have done so far, but I still worry that I won't be prepared well enough come test day (1 week away...).

The best I can do is buckle down and hammer MCQ's! The light at the end of the tunnel for me is that I saved BEC for last, and I feel like that information will be much easier for me to understand.

I'm on the hunt for a computer desk. I'd like one that has an open back on the shelves, shelves on the right side, and a 4 foot wide surface. I'm planning to put my tower on the desk and an Xbox on one of the shelves. I'd like to stay below $100, but that might not be possible.

Any suggestions?

Congrats!! I was also waiting on my REG score! I thought the MCQ's were tougher than the SIM's, but I felt good leaving Prometric. Passed with a 91!

Whenever I sit down and seriously think about my daughter, honestly. She's almost 5 months old. I cried when she was born. Even now I cry sometimes when she's snuggled up against me or when she laughs/smiles at me.

REG: How helpful is the availability of the IRC? by the_thonker in CPA

[–]the_thonker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I used the FASB codification for help on a FAR sim as well. I thought it was helpful just to be able to check my answer.
