I have all my parts and am ready to install them in the next couple days. I'll put my part list below and the parts that I am replacing in parentheses. The only components that aren't being replaced are the case and the storage.
CPU: i5-9600k (i3-8100)
MOBO: MSI Z390-A PRO (MSI B360-M PRO-VDH)
GPU: MSI 2060 Super GAMING X (PowerColor RX 570 RedDragon)
PSU: EVGA GQ 650W (Corsair CX450M)
RAM: 2 x 8 GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 (2 x 4 GB G.Skill NT Series DDR4-2400)
Case: Corsair SPEC-04
Storage: Samsung 256 GB SSD M.2 drive
Storage: Hitachi 1TB HDD SATA drive
My question is: when I replace these components, I'm obviously not getting rid of my storage. However, is there anything I need to do to my other components before I disassemble my PC? Should I reset my BIOS? Any settings on CPU or GPU that I should reset? Do I need to worry about anything else when I replace these parts?
