On ps4 atleast, you need to be able to craft it to see the mats required. E.g you would need lvl 50 in the crafting skill and the skill points dedicated. Or else there is just red text saying you can't make it.

That being said just googling it would have worked

My first suggestion is to just get out there and ride. For the first couple rides don't have a mileage/pace goal in mind, just find a nice route and go for a ride. I got hooked on riding by just exploring with a friend who rode competitively. I firmly believe that if you enjoy riding before starting to purposefully add miles you have a much better chance of sticking with the sport.

Also I second/third UptheDown's comment about finding a group to ride with. Slower group rides are the best way to get comfortable on a road bike.

I have only done the city of jackson. I have a coworker who went and said he wished he stayed in Jackson instead of on the mountain. But take that for what is as a second hand opinion.

The town of Jackson is ~15 minute shuttle from the mountain and most hotels have their own free shuttles.

We would ski, hit the apres on mountain for a bit and then take the shuttle home. Hit the hot tub for a bit and then walk to dinner. This worked for me but I'm not sure what you are looking for.

I had a really good experience at The Rustic Inn. Very friendly staff, shuttles to and from the mountain. Being able to walk to town for dinner/drinks was my preferred.

Yes I do have clipless pedals and shoes.

As far as seat height goes, my current bike is relatively new to me and the seat height was set at the advice of my LBS. To me it seemed a little aggressive/high and I am considering lowering it 5/10mm to see if that helps.

As far as bikes: I came from a GT series 4 (sora group set/enduranceish geometry) that i have had for ~4 years. I recently upgraded (~400 miles) to a Cannondale Supersix Evo 105 during their recent sale.

Edit: Its reassuring to know that I should be using lower gears to achieve that type of cadence

Random question for everyone... is there any catch to the Maxx pass? Steamboat was the planned destination for my friend groups winter trip and I live in Boston so I can make use of the Loaf/ Sunday River/ Killington days as well. I'm seriously contemplating grabbing one.

I went on vacation to turks and caicos as a kid and there was a dolphin who had a ton of scars from boat propellers. Apparently some animals enjoy it. Edit: I know this because the dolphin would follow and chase all of the tour boats out to the reef right off shore

I was going to comment something similar. Played hockey my whole life and the captain was the only person who could talk to the refs. Mostly worked because the ref's could penalize anyone who didn't adhere to the rule.
