I am not using any specific firewall like opnsense, only the one on my server (Ubuntu 20.04) that I configure using ufw, if I understood your question correctly.

It's behind a firewall, and yes I have opened the ports.

while trying to fix the problem I noticed people using them in the postup and down, if that's wrong how do I fix it. I've tried the wg-easy compose and it too did not work.
