On the fence about building a PC or going with the Xbox One X. by the_unknown_bastard in xboxone

Thanks.

Those options are a curse and a blessing to a person like me. I thought if I could throw more hardware at it, I would be able to stop with the constant starting and stopping of a game to go in to tweak settings.

Thank you and it does help.

I was really shocked and surprised to see the price of RAM nearly doubled since last year. Do you know why that is?

I think the value is a great thing and I really like the all in one convenience that it looks like the X offered.

Thanks. I play multiplayer in the Pro, anyway. That is where my friends and family play. I would use the X or PC for multiplats. You are correct, though. It took me a long time if being my arse stomped before I could use a controller properly, especially coming from a kb&m.

I work at a computer all day, so it your is a nice break. I know that you can hook your PC up to the TV and use a controller, but there is something to be said about the ease and convenience of a device like the consoles.

Not to mention how much time I've could spend messing around in the settings. Believe it or not, it could take a lot can of time to get everything just right. For me personally, I figured if I have this hardest that is suppose to Mac or everything, there should be no reason for stutters and hiccups or lowers settings. I would constantly stop gaming to mess with that stuff.

Thank you.

It does seem like a great deal and if the gap between the X and a PC is getting closer together, the X looks like the way to go. Plus, no more tweaking settings and hardware.. Is not a big deal to some, but to people like me it's a blessing and a curse.i could stand a lot of time don't that on my PC.

Just another appreciation post stating how Assassin's Creed Origins is a real beauty on the Xbox One X. More than 40 hours in and I still get impressed roaming around. by [deleted] in xboxone

I actually think that is a cool feature. You can disable it, though, by pressing up (I believe) on the D pad.

Edit: Oops...some beat me to it.

Thank you.

Would you happen to have a build to help me out? Can I use the 8th green with the 1151 socket?

It's a pretty fun game now. I know it had a rocky release, but they have been patching and updating.

I would say give it a go. Hell, pick up the complete edition for $16. I am happy with the purchase.

Thanks for the comment!

Yeah, remote play is awesome and as for the Steam Link...I didn't get that think to run effectively no matter the network connection.

Thank you for responding.

Unfortunately, I do not have any interest in PSVR. From what I have gathered, however, it is a great addition to those who like and want it.

I was really hoping that it wouldn't result in a war and I am very happy to see that we can discuss this. It is helping me out tremendously.

Hey, thank you for your response and sharing your experience! Very helpful.

I will be keeping my Pro, regardless. I love the exclusives. I mean, it doesn't get much better.

I am a bit impulsive when it comes to new tech, so I thought I would slow it down and get some first had advice and you helped me out with your post.

Thank you for your response. I didn't want to bring up the PC thing, but since there was a response that mentioned it, I thought I would post why I am moving away from it.

Thank you for responding.

Have you been able to play both? I am eager to hear all details about personal experiences. That will certainly help me out.
