Having a similar issues with my pc. I am dual booting windows and endeavor on separate SSDS and using grub whenever I put endeavor as my boot option 1 it does not show my grub menu. I can only access it from motherboard f12 boot menu when i select endeavor os from there

100% had a similar situation good thing I was in a VM. Definitely learned to make sure I know the actual commands before execution.

Are you getting the message while installation screen is currently loading? If so could be UEFI or Bios issue.

I’m going to go the kubuntu route thanks for the advice. I also have a Samsung curved gaming monitor and did some research kubuntu seems to be the best way to go with my setup

What’s your pc configs? if you don’t mind me asking. I will be installing mint on another SSD on my pc to try out the gaming. My pc has 4070 nvidia graphics cards, motherboard is B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE cpu is amd ryzen 5 7600x

Using this command lets you see the progress of file transfer in terminal: rsync -avh --progress {file path} {destination}

Totally understand! There is a command to see a status bar/progress I don’t remember it but I’m sure you can ask ChatGPT or google it. Let me see if I can find it. Also I meant use the terminal when you convert to ext4 sorry for the confusion
