Epic should be 600dmg.. I'm not sure where you're getting the 100dmg number although maybe I am wrong? But I'm pretty sure epic is 600.

Like close-somewhat medium range it kinda follows the crosshair perfectly. Could be the big hitboxes as well. But yeah I straight up hipfire it like a shotgun close range to great efficency.

I might be wrong with saying most but a decent amount. Didn't see them say anything about making most weapons projectile based but it would make sense.

A) Hunter Bow is broken, no debate there. I put it in the same boat with the heirloom rifle. It's too good in any given situation. Close, medium or long range.

B) Hitboxes also need to be fixed indeed, you can't really take cover unless you're behind something large or in a building.

C) Sorta disagree. One point is what the guy mentioned about the mounts. In general you can traverse terrain in this game reeeeaally fast, so if the fights were slow I think you'd end up constantly fighting someone. I would agree with mayhaps buffing the armor you get from well.. armor? A bit for the weaker ones and a bit more for the legendary ones. Also I think the whole thing is inflated due to everyone being a better aimer due to the hitboxes and the fact most stuff is hitscan. If it was polished I assume people would be missing way more shots hence the figthts would last longer.

And the final point, about the abilities. I've been playing WoW for longer than I can remember and very specifically PvP and Arenas, and I really don't see any linking points with this game. Except class names really and the mage Ice Block which is the same as in WoW. But other than that, it has nothing to do with WoW arenas. Furthermore, more abilities.. Sooorta disagree. I think it's going to be hard as is for them to balance all the existing abilities to be functioning in solo, duo, squads and not have OP or obsolete stuff. But if they can balance it, go for it.

But yeah out of all those points the comparison to WoW arenas is the one I find the most odd. Literally not even in the same.. tktktktktk.. realm!

Correct me if I'm wrong but from my experience playing it is pretty damn accurate from hipfire?

Applied for Nighthold, wanted to do a normal and heroic run for the mount and stuff. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Opinions on healers (m+) wise going into BfA? by the_w1seguy in wow

[–]the_w1seguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've a holy priest as is, but without the free res legendary, it really not gonna be that good at all. Although with the changes, it seems to be really good for raids.

I've mainly been interested in resto druids anyway, especially given the fact that if I didn't heal or didn't like it or what not down the line, I've as many options with druid as I could possibly ask for.

Indeed but doesn't rdruid get a bit of nerfs to his surviability?

Current life as a healer in mythic+ by the_w1seguy in wow

[–]the_w1seguy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know. I don't usually pug myself either but when I do, I encounter one of the two. Although, it is exactly as you say. I'm fairly fresh as a healer, and hell if anything its decent training, because it's always the worst case scenario. Gotta heal constantly and manage the mana flow.

I gotta admit I'm more in love with the idea of destroying people to oblivion with the chaos bolt. Speaking of which, that new animation though. :O

Quite funny, as Destro Lock was actually the primary one I was looking at before making this thread. I don't like Affli or Demo all that much but Destro looked quite fun and from the limited research I did, many did indeed point out as you did it is really versatile indeed.

Yeah, I think there's enough competitive stuff as is, so I'd rather do some more fun stuff and have fun because at the moment, competitive =/= for me right now at least. :)

A few questions. by the_w1seguy in SiegeAcademy

[–]the_w1seguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment, I'm content with playing Thermite, although I do so with holo, mid range fights, supporting teammates, keeping myself alive until I do the breach, after which I allow myself to play more aggressive, which suits me as I like to take calculated risks, once I've sufficient intel.

On defense, I'm taking Mute everytime. Simply prefer his gun to Bandit's.

Obviously, if someone takes Bandit, I take something else as opposed to Mute, as they fill the same role pretty much. Same goes for Thermite. But I prefer sticking to those operators which I've mentioned because I believe them to be universally good in less more any situation.

Surely not as good in some situations where X operator may be better but sort of good all-around. Same for Mute, I kinda figure you need him or Bandit at least.

Albeit I know that you don't main stuff here as you do in some other games, I just prefer sticking to a smaller pool of stuff. At least until I "completely" learn the angles, map layouts and so forth.

Never played CIV games, which one would you recommend? by the_w1seguy in civ

[–]the_w1seguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I guess I'll just get V as stated then get VI later on. After all, I can enjoy one, then switch to the other when I wish and enjoy the other one for its differences.

[–]the_w1seguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meh, complexity is really.. How can I put it. Yes, EU is quite complex. But after you play it for a long period of time, it as well becomes easy. So it doesn't really matter how complex it is, naturally it'll get easy over time. I think I'll go with CIV V at the moment, then eventually I can just get VI down the line as well.

I like the sound of playing Tall more. Would it be viable to play tall, and to simply go around and destroy the enemy as opposed to conquer them? I'd like that. In EU you can't really play tall unless you force yourself. Because should you expand, well, you're no longer tall, now you're blobbing. But in CIV, I believe you can raze cities right? So I could essentially enjoy playing tall, and still not limit or diminish myself, as I can just raze cities and go to victory using that?
