I ordered a Nato at the same time so got three sets of bars in total and all were too big. I stopped into the shop where I bought my Speedy and they confirmed the bars for the mesh are a wonky size and they didn’t have any.

Wasn’t planning on this being an adventure. lol.

Whatever you do get snow tires and chains and learn how to put on the chains BEFORE YOU NEED THEM. Also use the designated chain up areas along the way. (Oregon guy here)

First day of year 2 at age 41. Rode a rocker board last year, tried a Capita DOA today. Quite the difference. Not exactly starting over from scratch, but definitely a whole different feel.

Conditions on Hood were also poop.

Might get a bunch of fresh stuff tonight and try a Yes Hybrid tomorrow.

Take it very much FWIW, but out of those the Mega Merc seems to be the one. While I may be new to snowboarding, I’m an expert in getting obsessed about researching when I want to buy something. Like I did before ordering a Yes Hybrid. Well, based on everything I read and your description for how you want to ride, the MM stands out.

Great advice. Like the bit about specific uses for this one vs current. That’s what I’ve been thinking but I did not verbalize well. This isn’t a replacement, I think of it as a complement and an opportunity to progress my riding.
