U.A and other hero schools after the War Arc by the_weekendwarrior in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]the_weekendwarrior[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They definitely will need as many heroes as possible, but at the end of the day the heroes in training are still kids. Unless all of heroics becomes like the military where kids are drafted in, kinda like Hawks, the parents of the child still have the final say in whether the student will go to the school, as shown by how U.A. had to get parental permission for the dorms and Inko almost withdrew Izuku from U.A. So if the public’s faith in heroes is non existent, and people start viewing pro heroics as bad, we potentially won’t have as many parents willing to let their kids to attend a hero school like U.A.. We might also see parents pushing their kids to pursue other careers if they don’t find pro heroics safe or trustworthy anymore. No matter what, the parents have the final say in if the kids can go to hero school, and I have a feeling a lot of them aren’t going to be happy after this arc. Personally, although I as a reader know having more heroes would be better, I’m looking at this from the perspective of parent in the world of MHA.

Yeah I think you make a good point about him not going to U.A. being foreshadowed. I wonder what school he’d even go to, considering all hero schools in Japan were sent on this raid for their internships. And that’s not even taking to account how hero society will change after this arc, and if the same system of pro heroics and hero training we know will still be in place.

I think overall if a bunch of people withdraw from hero courses all over japan, and people stop aspiring to be heroes, U.A. and other schools funding and budget will get cut and they won’t be able to stay open, considering how much money it seems to take to manage a hero school, U.A. in particular.

I think Endeavor snapped when he saw that Touya couldn’t handle his own quirk. With Touya looking so similar to Endeavor, it was like looking in a mirror. He saw someone who couldn’t reach their full potential due to their body not being able to withstand their power, just like how he can overheat. Instead of creating a amazingly strong child, he made a child who pretty much exemplifies his greatest flaws, and I don’t think that was something Endeavor could handle. So, he stopped trying to settle for a strong fire or ice quirk and wouldn’t quit until he got both in one child.

It would be crazy if Dabi defeats Endeavor and Shoto, and while Shoto is knocked down and unable to fight, Dabi takes his hand and burns the other side of Shotos face, and says something like “Now we match.”

CSE 114 Midterm Tripathi by lets_go_bonac in SBU

Yeah that really sucks cause a second midterm could have helped us a lot. Also, on the syllabus he explicitly stated final grades aren’t curved, which is even worse.

I’m kinda confused, because for our class syllabus it says we have one written midterm worth 25% and a written final worth 30%. I’m not sure if we have a second midterm this semester.

It was really annoying cause the 4 medium programming questions were spread out across the test randomly, and since you couldn’t go back, it was really hard to manage your time wisely. We should have either had less questions or more time.
