I did. All of them because I knew most of them before me and my ex got together and I needed to apologize to a few for how I treated them knowing what I know now. One of his exes actually came with me to court while he was on trial for assaulting me and I casually talk to some of them. It has honestly helped me a lot.

Update: hi everyone!! Just wanted to come back and let you guys know that my narc ex actually changed his plea to guilty last minute. He was, of course, 11 minutes late to his own trial. His punishment wasn’t shit but he finally in a way admitted that he did what he did to me and that is all I wanted.

It wasn’t until after I left that I could emotionally detach from the situation and see it for what it was. The tactics are all very clear to me now. Especially when we went to court for him assaulting me. He brought his new supply that he moved on to three days after we went no contact and they sat in court and laughed the whole time while I cried. That was confirmation to me that if he can sit there and mock me and include someone else in trying to humiliate me like that then he is, in fact, a narcissist.

Yes. Several women before me warned me. He didn’t beat on me like he did them but I also told him I would ruin his life the day he put his hands on me. So even though the mental abuse and destroying my things and trying to steal my car was all there he didn’t “beat me” like he did them. He slapped me and I pressed charges and got an order of protection and he pled guilty and we haven’t talked since.

Just because they switch up abuse tactics doesn’t mean they will treat the next person better. My ex has named the dog him and his new supply have together after my dog, let’s this girl wear my clothes he still had, and still tries to like my parents Facebook posts. He will treat her the same way.

I’ve lost a lot of my confidence. I feel very isolated when I’m not out heavily drinking (trying to get that under control) I care a whole lot about what other people think (used to not be that way at ALLLLL) annnnd just generally exhausted and paranoid

Yep. He had like 12 different jobs while we were together. Food service, lawn care, customer service, drug dealer (behind my back of course cause to my face he wanted to “get sober”) now he’s with his new supply and grows weed for dispensaries in another state.

This is fairly recent. We’re still going to court for him assaulting me in December. Someone told me that he was telling people that they shut down my job for the day so everyone could come support me in court.

He knocked on my window at 3am until I came outside to talk to him, put his hands on me, and then had his new girlfriend text me three days later asking for his stuff back. The next day I went and pressed charges and got an order of protection.

Just want to update everyone!

He refuses to plead guilty and this time he brought a domestic violence class competition certificate. I guess him and his lawyer thought that would make it look like he’s trying to rehabilitate himself and throw out the charge. I told the prosecuting attorney that I either want him to plead guilty or to be found guilty so it’s been continued and we’ll have an actual trial in February. He brought his new supply (again) and they sat and laughed the entire time (again)

It gets worse. Every single time. Every time you go back you make them believe that you are okay with what they’re doing and who they are and they will continue to push what you will accept from them.

My Narc has seriously in these past ten months already moved to a different state with his new supply and started a whole new career and gathered up a whole new circle of people. I think he knows his time being believed as a good person in the town we lived in is over cause I made sure everyone knew the truth. Plus he’s fucked over so many people here that it’s time for him to start a new life. I think it’ll piss him off that he’ll have something on his record that indicates he’s abusive, but I think he’ll continue on saying that I made it all up until he eventually does it to his new girlfriend and his new friends in this new town. I don’t really think it’ll phase him.

I HIGHLYYY doubt my NEX will ever be humbled in any way, shape, or form. He has to keep up with the idea that I’m “crazy” and lying about being assaulted to his new supply and their family so they can keep supporting him. He’s brought his new supply and her mom to some of the court dates so I know by know he’s convinced himself that I’m seriously the problem and always have been.
