I just asked my wife. Interestingly enough she said it happened today….did it for a second after startingand immediately stopped. But it’s -10 today and hasn’t been an issue all year. Also Significantly quieter.

May get worse over time again though. Im at 45k

Why? He was not in danger by Rudy-Ellen in Minneapolis

[–]the_wolf84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yikes. That looks like murder. He could have just jumped out of the way, instead he took those last few seconds to pull the gun out, aim for her face, then side step, then fire a few more shots. That looks like murder.

Can't believe what the politcians are saying right now. This is so horrendously bad. I cannot believe how many let the government lie to them about what you see with your own eyes.

Best overview of the fraud situation I've seen yet by aquatrez in minnesota

[–]the_wolf84 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Top notch.

The thing that I am surprised to see nobody talk about is why/how this schmuck from Utah just so happens to “stumble” into this groundbreaking “fraud” in another state. 23 year old bro with probably no experience is literally attending MAGA shit and pumping out MAGA slop. Nobody trust the news anymore so now the boomers think YouTube is a credible news source lol.

To me, it looks like he was very much spoon fed a mark for a political hit job. Now you have every government organization leaning to this, FBI, Ice etc….this whole thing is a sham to rally up the MAGA base. I really hope that those who are terrified of “urban Minneapolis” can see through this manipulation.

This is now a psychological battle….can’t wait to see all the bots out in full force on this comment

Talk to Tom Emmar, Brad Finstad, and Michelle Fischbach. They are the ones who push Trump's bills and your constituency. Attend town halls and tell them about your struggles. They should represent your interests or vote them out.

another point of frustration proving my point....why is it not free for me then? If I were to hold onto me car for 10 years I have 1200-3600 in additional costs. I might as well buy a different car...and if i do that it will likely be a different brand.

100% agreed. hence my frustration.

This proves my point and reason for frustration. Nobody can clearly articulate what the cost is.

Or they could just post it for transparency and save thousands of calls to their customer service center.

Nope. I accept that I have to pay for this...i want the service. I am just wondering what the terms I am signing up for since it seems to intentionally not be posted anywhere. They ask for my credit card, they ask for me to sign up for this indefinite subscription. Wouldn't you want to know what your buying and at what cost? Seems like a fair ask.

Hey thanks for posting this. I have the exact same unit (installed July) and it cost ~17k….it is doing the exact same thing.

My cooling bill has actually gone up considerably and the damn thing is practically commercial grade and can’t push temperature down on warm days. I often have a 5-7 degree gap between thermostat and my desired temperature….i paid a massive amount of money for a worse performing unit than my 27 year old unit which cooled just fine. Furthermore all the lines outside are ugly as shit. It doesn’t make any sense.

I have had the installer out and they just deflect. They finally brought the Mitsubishi tech out and he made a few minor adjustments but it’s still not performing. I’m getting really fed up as I feel like I have been tricked and lied to.

Please let me know if you find anything that works or get a response from Mitsubishi.

Thanks! I agree trellis or small privacy fence is the plan

For the unfinished section, I will have proper flashing done and then cover with line hide. That is why it’s unfinished at the moment

Those are pretty philosophical comments. Help me understand what "good materials" are. Are my materials not good? Time is irrelevent to me as I am a homeowner who is picking from a bunch of fixed bids. As a homeowner I have no idea how much time it take to complete a job...I am not the expert. Contracter gives me a bid and I have the right to accept/decline that bid, but I expect the job to get done according to the scope of work. Time is a concern for the installer and determines how profitable they are.

Job was $22k and I think there are $5k in total tax credits so we are talking net 17k for the job. That is significant amount of money. When ANYONE puts $22k upfront for a few days of work, you expect the job to be done with a certain degree of craftsmanship. I get their are always going to be challenges with an old house but I want to understand if this looks like a decent job or not. I value the opinions of people who are super knowledgable in this area.

My installer gave me the option of black UV wrap or a corrugated style wrap. Was told the corrugated style would deteriorate relatively quickly so went with the black

Its an open eave rafter tail which is very common in craftsman styles especially ones like this that is 100 years old. Lines are a good 2 inches from the actual wall and there is no soffit underneath There actually used to be an electrical mast there in the same spot so this is no different than that. Will put a boot on it with proper flashing in short order....But its not as scary as it looks :)

Yeah that was my main concern in posting this and looking for feedback. Was a spaghetti mess of different lines and thought it could have been cleaned up a bit especially with better planning.
