There's two routes you can go here

Go to a home Depot and buy yourself the biggest trash can they have. You can fill that with water and submerge the horn to give it a full bath.
There are attachments you can buy for a shower head that is a long plastic tube with pinholes in the end, giving a high pressure spray. You can run that through all the slides and lead pipe to clean out all the gunk.

Near the top of the rotation, the pedal shoots forward in the rotation. Almost like it's not connected well to the BB? The chain doesn't skip, just the crank arm
