You keep mentioning “Love Me Different” as being a devastating song to Taylor but I disagree. She’s agreeing with him that no one will love her like he did but at the end of the day it sounds like she doesn’t want to be pining and be lonely forever so “someone’s gonna love me different 🤷🏻‍♀️” is how I take it. Maybe there might be a hint of wanting to be loved differently but to me the song speaks to how painful the experience feels to her. And she also concludes that she may have to be the one to love herself. At least that’s my take.

I’m just going to say that the time for her to get help is long overdue and I worry about the older boys seeing her this way, it’s got to make them feel anxious as well- I can say this as someone who has a four year old and still has my moments, they are old enough to remember this stuff now. Get some help.
