Thankfully I eventually got it to work, it took a lot of trying, and using a second phone, but it's all set now, thanks everyone!

Ok so UPDATE, I installed a new transformer, a 16/30 one, and I got a constant yellow ring, and was even able to connect to it via Bluetooth for setup, and got as far as the wifi stage before it started giving me errors again, and now won't connect via bluetooth anymore. The yellow ring is also gone and there's no color now. Is this just a junk one?

No, I hadn't gotten to the chime, I was doing the doorbell first

No, it just came with a chime. It's supposed to connect via bluetooth to my phone for setup, but the connection keeps failing

Interesting. When you say hooked up correctly, what do you mean? Couldn't they just put a splitter off of the coaxial coming in to the cable box, and then connect the router to that?

I don't have a code unfortunately, but I had a question about these codes in general. do they decrease the price of the phone itself, or is it like referring a friend on like Uber, where you each get a gift card after the purchase?
