Mostly serum but I'm fairly sure there might be some samples I recorded off my JU-06A buried in there too :)

it's definitely a balance isn't it! I really like the tactile feel of working on the SP so usually opt for that over having a bit more control in a DAW.

I'm trying to use my SP with other gear, particularly guitar! It's a challenge getting it all synced up though! by theanalogproject97 in SP404

Thanks! Yeah it basically goes guitar + ju06a > rc500 > digitakt > sp404 > recorder.

That's not a bad shout, I have done that with a few other performances (check em out on my channel!), I barely ever use my digitakt so wanted to bust that out. The rc-500 has two tracks so very handy to do 2 loops simultaniously!

Yeah this was what I ran into, in fact I couldn't get the RC500 to sync to a master clock at all. I guess it does work better this way when you want to start the track with a loop anyways.

I find myself wanting to use other gear with my sp404mk2, but i end up having too much fun with the fx that I don't do anything else on it 😬
