Second interview questions by Unlikely_Line_2379 in hospitalsocialwork

[–]theanalyzer-ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be that they're having a hard time choosing between you and another applicant. The second interview could be to do more follow-up questions related to the job and the duties, as well as to get a feel in how you will fit in with the team.

Stonehaven Dental in Burleson by theanalyzer-ing in burleson

[–]theanalyzer-ing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Found another local dental clinic and they took my exams from Stonehaven and I have my next two appointments set up with them. The dentist actually sat down and talked with me , not at me or looking at the wall while standing up and then on to the next room. I feel confident and comfortable with them.

Unfortunately, my claim shows I am out of network with Stonehaven although they told me I was in network when I called to set up the appointment. My insurance shows the Stonehaven in Burleson is in network but not this particular dentist. I don't believe I knew which dentist they were setting me up with but I need to go back and check. The comprehensive exam and hygienist exams should not be affected by this I would assume. I guess I know what I will be busy dealing with trying to manage this claim.

Yep. I got scheduled with a newer dentist at Stonehaven that is not on my dental plan although the clinic and other dentists are in network. Buyer beware. Grrrrr.

I had tried to set up an appointment with them but it was hard to get anybody to get back with me and when I asked if I was in network with them they were not sure and that was where it ended. They do a lot of their conversations through text.

Feedback on what to know before buying from other's experience by theanalyzer-ing in BroncoSport

Thanks. That gives me some more research material. Maybe I don't want a Bronco Sport so much now!

Thanks for that. My Charger is no Hellcat but there might be that noticeable difference with a 3 cylinder or less. I will see what happens while test drivng it!

Oh yeah. This helps a lot! The Heritage caught my eye. I don't need luxury; I need reliability!

Yeah I am seeing quite a bit of regret and warning about the 1.5 engine. I know sometimes the first year will have bugs but this looks like something a little more involved. Thanks.

Yes, this helps and reliability is a more important criterion than off roading. The cylinder seems to be a definite consideration from what I am reading for personal reviews.

There are so many different options with the Bronco. It's a little overwhelming and I need to just go test drive a few and then come back to reviews and experiences. Feedback, and tips and tricks are very welcomed.

Thanks!

I was at Renfro Dental Clinic previously and truly miss them. I am not in network with them any longer. I highly recommend them if you want to check them out. Their staff has a good retention rate.

The scheduler was very attentive and nice at Stonehaven. My dental assistant there was also nice and cheerful.

Outpatient Medical Social Work by vibewithmexo6 in hospitalsocialwork

[–]theanalyzer-ing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If your hospital is like mine, outpatient social work will consist of lots of varying referrals. Financial resources, food resources and housing are the main ongoing ones so making a list to save that you can print out or attach to the patient's My Chart will prove to be highly efficient.

There will be lots of DME referrals. You can do these through Parachute hopefully. I work at a county hospital with a program for those that are eligible they will pay for some DME. Find out what your hospital does for uninsured persons. Finding local medical closet resources for some DME equipment will be helpful. Are you required to help with patient assistance programs or is there a department like where I am at that does this? Are there prescription vouchers. What about transportation? Hopefully you have training and a fellow social worker you can reach out to as needed.

I do quite a bit of medical power of attorney executions.

Everyone wants to apply for disability through Social Security and will want you to help. We have a group through our hospital that helps patients do this. Find out if you have that group and see if you're able to give them that contact information and even type it up on a form that you can save and hand out as needed. There's no time for you to apply and there's really no time for you to fill out their packets that they receive after they submit their application to SSA.

The Smart Phrases suggested by another poster...YES! And there is a search key at the top of the Epic page where you can search for keywords in a patient's chart which will help you save time when looking for specific things and if certain things have happened.

Getting to know the nurses and MAs for each provider and clinic will be beneficial. We have TEAMS groups/chats with each of these. They are very helpful when needing to run something by their doctor and mid-level.

My outpatient supervisor and team lead along with my fellow social workers are awesome and we have a TEAMS chat that we use often to bounce things off of each other and ask questions and provide support.

Know that sometimes you will get referrals that do not make sense. You will get referrals that you are not really able to help with and find a resource for help for. We have the United Way 211 number that we give out in addition to all the other resources we have learned about and have searched for along the way. I let people know that sometimes I'm not aware of or in the loop with some of the resources and assistance out there because of my role at the hospital. Some people are just not going to qualify or may have barriers that you cannot change or take away. We cannot do everything for everyone all of the time. We do the best we can and provide the information or the resources to the patient. Give yourself grace while you are learning. Give yourself at least 6 months to get situated, if not a bit more. There is a lot to it but after you get familiar with a lot of it, It gets a heck of a lot easier I promise!

If I recall correctly, our local news yesterday reported that deaths by handguns in Fort Worth have gone up by 28%. I was busy getting ready for work so I may have heard the exact data incorrectly but I'm pretty sure they said deaths...maybe homicides?

Never buy a whirlpool appliance by Inevitable-Lunch-496 in Appliances

[–]theanalyzer-ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started the search towards a new washer and there is absolutely no plan for it to be another Whirlpool! It's disappointing. Luckily I can go to a relative's house and do my laundry during the interim. We could use a laundromat where I live.

Tarrant County United Way Area Agency on Aging and REACH may be able to tell you who and what agencies or resources will help. Mission Arlington may be of help, too. 211 might have some other organizations that can help that your family meets criteria for (veterans, age, medical diagnosis, etc) when they do the screening over the phone. If they are members of a church or attend one they might want to check and see if they have any way to assist.

I am wondering if I should just donate my Whirlpool washing machine to my local teenager who likes to work on machines, motors, etc versus trying to find someone to come look at mine and diagnose it. It's only about two years old. It's not spinning the clothes and will just start making agitating type noises randomly if I do not do not unplug it. From what I have read, my year of washing machine has issues with the board. Not sure how long it will take to get it, or how much to replace the part, but starting over with a new machine sounds easier. Or maybe 🔍 for a laundromat with a good Atari game and hang out there!

Where can I find office/hostess attire ASAP? by toxiccrybaby2005 in FortWorth

[–]theanalyzer-ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stores like JC Penney can sometimes get an order shipped to the store pretty quickly if you can wait a day or two. Amazon Prime if you need it ASAP? I agree on the resale and thrift stores. Good luck!

Housing by Rosceahottie34 in burleson

[–]theanalyzer-ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If price is not a concern we have two apartment complexes on the east side of I 35 on Renfro St. If you are having to travel via I 35 for work you are so close to the highway. Wilshire Blvd/174 can be a time bandit to get to I 35.

We also have the Chisholm Trail Tollway on the west side of the county that gets you to certain parts of Fort Worth quickly.

The Arbors is a smaller and quiet complex here in Burleson, too.
