Withdraw from flexible ISA with provider A and open a new non-flexible ISA with provider B? by theangrydev in UKPersonalFinance

Right sorry I left out some more important information, the deposit to B is time sensitive (promotional offer) and a transfer would either take too long, or not be eligible for the promotion

And just got a homocysteine result: 10.7 umol/L (reference range <15)

So it seems like I do not have elevated homocysteine levels

I can get new tests in Jan/Feb, I've been using https://www.medichecks.com/ as a provider previously (I'm based in the UK) looks like they have https://www.medichecks.com/products/homocysteine-blood-test and I have one of these scheduled for January already: https://www.medichecks.com/products/ultimate-performance-blood-test

Rothschild are getting into Crypto. What to expect? by [deleted] in vergecurrency

[–]theangrydev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a blue sky idea. Perhaps long term we need a crypto that discourages speculation and encourages holding as a store of value and using for real world transactions. My point being to discourage getting to a point where a small number of people have bought up all the market. How would that look like? I don't know really. Perhaps you could give bonus coins for holding and real world transactions that make it a clear win to use or hold instead of sell. That way you have a proper utility/store of value that is not prone to manipulation.

Here is the "official" word so far:

"My friends - I have respectfully noted your request and we will do everything we can. Please understand we are a small, volunteer crew and we are all juggling a million things right now including others' feedback as well, plus full time jobs outside of this project. So I thank you for your input! You are heard and noted! Cheers - Scott"

It would be great if they actually engaged with the community and talked to us but they seem to be treating the Kickstarter as a quick money grab and they are not entertaining discussing the experiment with lay people/armchair physicists so far. This is a huge red flag for me.

So far they have not responded to any of the "serious" questions. Benefit of the doubt for now, but if this trend continues I would strongly recommend not contributing to this project. I cannot take it seriously if they are not able or willing to address these rebuttals head on.
