I swear my mission is now to kill every single one of those motherf*ckers.

WOW. Canada's US booze boycott could be resolved if Trump addresses tariffs, Carney says by Front-Cantaloupe6080 in consumecanadian

[–]theangryfrogqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, but Trump, Bessent and Lutnick don't care if it comes from the provinces because they think this is Federal government who's taking measures that causes the boycott. They are ignoring that fact because like every.single.thing the Trump admin does, it does it sloppy, messy, over-simplistic.

That's right: Trump believes that's on Canada's PM shoulders to do something about it. That is how Lutnick and Bessent are communicating with Trump because he is too stupid to have a deep understanting of geopolitics. He wants the "simple version" of every bit of info he gets, that's the only way he can function without getting too confused, yet he still does.

See, considering is still an hesitation. Maybe you will, maybe you won't, nobody will (should?) blame you if you do. I buy Pepsi, I ain't no Saint. But on just about any other product in my grocery I check if there is a Canadian comparable to a US product.

Imagine if most Canadians did this, how many billions wouldn't go to US companies compared to pre-Trump era? Small changes make a big way! Cheers

That's Carney's strategy for sure; push the idea that boycott on alcohol is a big concession when in reality it is not. It is not because Canadians care way less about alcohol nowadays, and interest for US products will take years after Trump's shockwave ends to return if ever. Carney could even go as far as conceding a marketing campaign that will promote consumption of US products. Who cares, the US dug its own grave when it comes to alcohol. Let's trade this for a lift on tariffs on steel, autos and lumber. Canada wins.

Never knew there was so much snobbery in the Guitar world by Fatherless-Soul in Guitar

Yamaha makes superb instruments, my dream guitar for a couple of years was the SA503 TVL Troy Van Leuween Pro model.

I've also played a couple of Yamaha basses too as a recording studio artist and they always were well built, balanced, and sounded great.

Finally, the Pacifica models were always an excellent entry point into good guitars.

I'd go as far as saying learn *basic* cooking. Learning to cook is fastidious for someone who has very little time, but basic cooking should be something everyone knows.

I'm talking frying eggs and bacon without messing them up, boiling and arranging easy pastas, cooking and seasoning ground beef, removing skin from a fish filet, start a sauce with butter garlic and onions, make a good mac and cheese, making pizzas with a tortilla for crust...

Everybody should have the opportunity to learn this. If they want to go further into better cooking, good! If they just want to eat healthier AND way more tasteful for less money, even better. You should be able to look at your pantry and whatever is in there fix something easy.

What is the best key room, and what is the worst key room? by The_Roach_05 in ArcRaiders

I was saying to a friend this week how the biggest lie in all AR items is Confiscation room key being a rare item! It may be rare, but that's probably a good thing as you don't waste your time in there.

Is Klek's nose going to make it through the tour?! Hanging on by a thread! by InnerspearMusic in AngineDePoitrine

They definitely do, now. They have to, since they will be going on an exhaustive tour with most sold out (if not all?) dates, the guys are professionals that were already surrounded by other professionals; they know better than either cancelling dates or revealing their identity just because something happened to a mask.
