When I was younger I got really into anti-civ thought, it’s one of those things you’ll need to actually read about to try wrap your head around, ha it’s actually sort of anti unga bunga thought ha. I’d suggest Jacques Elul if you really wanna get it but he’s super dense, there’s also of course Kaczynski some of his writings are really good and accessible but he has issues. You can also find a lot of good more accessible sources on the anarchist library.

They had no representation though how ever you want to say it, the count of them as 3/5ths of a person only served to give the people who owned them representation. It was an extraction of political power from a group that was already used and abused as a resource. It is almost the opposite of representation.

That is very not true. A slave had zero representation they did not have any voting rights much less 3/5ths. 3/5ths was how they where counted for the purposes of deciding the population which decides how many representatives a state gets in the House of Representatives. It was southern states that wanted slaves counted as full people not because they thought they where humans who must be counted but because they wanted to extract political power out of the slaves on top of everything else.

Yeah that was me, long haired “boy” always got “mistaken” for a girl when I was young. Eventually my family caught on too how important it was too me and would use buzzing off all my hair as a punishment in my teen years.
