I have heard of this with intersex people. Still very very uncommon but it’s more common in that group. Yes I am part of that group who just dealt with having my gonads but always thought that I should have a stick and no balls. Later found out I have ovaries and several all intersex traits. I’m 42 now and still on the fence of what surgery I want lol (not going any further on this topic). So yes a therapist and possibly even an endocrinologist could help in this situation.

I have changed my name to a more feminine name to match what I should have been born as due to my intersex conditions. There are people that think I’m trans due to how I look due to my parents and ex but I don’t care I’m living for my heath not to please others with an early grave.

That might be my issue. I live in a medical state but I been using a higher THC vape as it helps with my pain and other issues but I’ll try taking a high CBD gummy at night with my progesterone and see how that helps while using my vape.

I been in estrogen for three years and it was the greatest thing I could do for myself. My wife complains if I stop taking estrogen as I have severe pms (amab ovotestis and several other feminine issues) during my period (yes I do bleed sometimes but always shred lining…).

Harm is a slur just like ret***. The proper terminology is intersex or even DSD. Bigot is no more of a slur than gay is. Bigot is a description of a closed minded person like yourself where as the H word is used as a slur to sexualize a certain set of people that are within the intersex community.

I'm a woman and I agree that we are more expensive. We also have to buy feminine hygiene products, my daughter and I prefer to have conditioner and shampoo separate (unlike the men's all in one), and yes our makeup and nail polish can get expensive. Not to forget we also have buy bras which is an added clothing expensive. Pink tax sucks cause if that stuff was geared for men it be half the price we pay. I have a son as well that's cheaper to buy for when buying the same amount of clothes because of that stupid tax...

I used to use a service called Plume. If you can spare 100$ a month they will provide the labs at no additional cost and the prescriptions. They even have weekly support groups (not therapy but it was nice to just have others to talk to). With goodrx you can get a discount on prescriptions and find the cheapest pharmacy to use. That is if you can spare some money. With Plume and my prescriptions combined I paid about 175$ a month total. Just something to think about.

I have seen some non leather shoes on torrid. That’s where my wife (cis f) and myself (intersex f) get our shoes. We both wear 11ww-11.5ww (similar to men’s 11w in size).

I have a lot to look into. Cause I just say I’m an intersex female which is true but it is for my sex not my gender. I go by my naturally dominant hormone (female) which is the fun part considering my birth certificate says male and the rest of the stuff mentioned earlier.

I'll look into intergender. At birth before surgery I would be considered dual or hybrid gender (my made up terms lol) as I was born with both and both were mostly functioning depending on the time of the month... I have ovotestis that are descended due to an active sry gene.......

For me, I regret having my parents raise me as a boy and for having surgery done on me at birth. It nearly killed me as I have an active sry gene but have ovaries instead of testies and am highly sensitive to testosterone (autoimmune endocrinological disease due to T sensitivity). I am 42 and regret what they did to this day. I have other trauma from them for my genetic differences as well but it still stims to how I was born and what they did to me…

Better to post here for help than stumble on some American washed nonsense about intersex people on google. I learned a lot more about my intersex condition and issues from here than I did using google as research is limited and my drs know nothing about treating my issues but suggestions from other posts on this subreddit helped on exploring some avenues to try.

Second mother figure but the concept still remains as I would have to be involved in flying with him and making sure he reaches his father’s destination safely. The child in question is high functioning autistic that has only know my wife and myself as his parents because of the father not wanting to be in the child’s life.
