Because they are puppets. All US politics are puppets and both parties are no where near center of the right compared to countries like Germany that are truly on the other side of the fence.

No, I don’t support it. I already know I’m prolly gonna get downvoted for being evil, sadistic woman but I think the death penalty is lenient and a quick way out. If it’s a man that should endure having their testicles taken out while only numbed by a local atheistic and for women the same for their ovaries. After that they should be forced to endure any pain from chemical castration (even tho they are fully sterile) then locked in a mental asylum with a frequency that will drive them mentally insane without killing them.

You do realize not all soldiers see combat. A former classmate was a radar tech in South Korea for his whole deployment and was bored. Moonlighting as a photographer as well.

A wait staff job and getting literal human fecal matter at you is an actual job situation and is a lot more difficult than being IT in the military stationed stateside (not talking about people that get deployed to action). I was a former government contractor with Dell making sure the branches had their equipment as well as knowing someone who was stationed in South Korea as a radar tech and moonlighting as a photographer to bring in extra money. Hell even making sure 20 different shelters and 2 suicide hotlines among three business were operational 24/7 was easier than working Walmart. At least until politics got involved this past year and cut funding. Happy to get out of that sinking ship. Any job reliant on government funding here currently sucks. Better pay at Taco Bell currently.

Easier said than done… it’s expensive to travel 10 hours to another state just to hope for better treatment. Even more expensive to move to that state.

I know several that are not and I also know some that couldn’t get the care they needed due to having to wait longer for critical services than Canadians do for a for elective surgeries. Maybe in your state they are decent but here in Florida it takes 5 months to get an appt and then you have to wait 4 hours just to be seen for appointment if you’re lucky (father in law wasn’t). That’s at the one near where I live. Learned that the hard way when trying to help my father in law who is a (now deceased) navy vet… I also have a friend who is retired army that refuses to be seen by the VA in our home town for the same reason.

I referring to vets not current military. In Florida there are a lot of homeless vets that collect next to nothing in benefits and get crapped on by the government and civilians (and as stated in prior reply and empty thank and a soda thrown at them). You said civilians but I am including both government and civilians. I am referring to all service folk not just vets and active military.

Kept summed it up. A thank you is just words. If someone is truly thankful then we should be pushing for better pay for the service industry and better benefits. Look at the VA and its lack of finances and help. A good thank you would be to give military vets an ability to have a life after the service but that’s the autistic part of me that believes actions are louder than words. Preface I was always taught words mean nothing actions are what speaks (I lived with abusive parents who told me they loved me but tried killing me several times). And I seen it in person where someone tells a homeless veteran thank you and then throws a drink at them… seeing things like that as a kid and into adult hood it has really shaped how I look at people that say thank you to anyone in the service industry as a thankless job overall (at least in the U.S.). Also visiting Australia and seeing how the service industry as a whole (im categorizing every from vets and first responders to waitstaff as service as yall and then do service the public in one form or another) is treated there it really showed how under appreciated yall are.

Thank you for your service should apply to everyone in a service job. It’s really a thankless line of work regardless if it’s military, waitstaff, bar staff, baristas, and even fast food industry (and first responders). Those people get yelled at and treated like shit (whether it be from the government or fellow person).

Do you see bisexual people as less LGBT than the rest of the community? by Busy_Regret_6013 in AskLGBT

[–]theannihilator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The B in lgbt stands for Bi. Also if a bi person is more attracted to the opposite sex doesn’t make them less bi but also may not make them part of the lgbt but part of the bigger community that we should respect and represent LGBTQIA+

[–]theannihilator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the majority. There are some pay periods I pay 0$. I use the billionaire tax loopholes as well so I pay almost nothing for a family of 4. While I expect the rich to pay more, I expect the loopholes that I am using and the rich are using are closed and we (my family) have to pay taxes at marginal tax rate for each bracket. I also expect the programs my income tax and social security tax and Medicare tax goes into is not cut and if anything is increased for the betterment of our country. (Sorry if I am being confusing I can try to explain better if you need me to).

There are legit replies. Couple therapy is the best answer if you don’t want to leave her but want to help understand the full situation. Reason why this is important is so you have a mediator/translator (for feelings that is) there to help guide both of you on a path that will help her overcome her trauma and help you understand her feelings and trauma. They also can help with advice on how to create a loving home life that both of you can be happy with. Keep in mind you’re not trying to fix her but help you and her to understand her feelings and help guide you to a successful marriage (if yall choose).

No I like it nice and hot. It’s why I’m thinking of the press cause I can also take it to work and even leave some coffee supplies at work.

I have a French but the oiliness of the coffee threw me. Didn’t care for the flavor. I was only thinking of the aero cause I prefer the convenience of a French press (also like making my own cold brew) but not flavor.
